Surely this wasn't the "big" thing that was coming to Galveston? https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2024/01/25/royal-caribbean-rumor-wonder-of-the-seas-galveston

We've stayed in the 2BR AS on Harmony, it was really nice, great view of the ocean, great view of the aqua theater, enormous balcony. There are even binoculars on the balcony on their own stand so you can go out and look at things whenever, it's a cool feature. The only downside for us what was that my kids were younger and still needed naps, but the Aqua show has to practice and it is very loud in the suite when they do, which is typically mid day. If you're not a napper, it won't even be a thing. Have fun!
Yeah unfortunately the 2BR ATS is out of our price range. We have 3 people so its just my parents and myself, so 3 or 3.5k would be my personal budget. The 1 BR ATS just hits that limit.

Hi everyone. We're planning on going on a cruise in the fall and we're trying to decide between an Aquatheater Suite or an Owners suite. We stayed in our very first suite last year also on Harmony which was the Crown Loft Suite! We absolutely LOVED IT! (#TeamDeck17 am I right?) We're thinking of doing a different suite this time. We wont rule out staying in the CLS again, but wanted something different! What are the pros and cons of each room? Which would you recommend staying in? Thanks!

We have the 3 night dining package, but we aren't using it on Izumi. Would it be possible to walk up and get some Izumi to-go and eat it in our stateroom?

I just submitted a bid for RoyalUp. I'm a solo originally staying in an Oceanview cabin. If I RoyalUp to a balcony let's just say, will I still get double points?

Royal's train departs later in the day from a station near the airport in Anchorage and it ends right at the cruise terminal in Seward. It leaves later so that fly in guests landing in the morning can make the train but this means it arrives in Seward late afternoon or early evening. This is a charter train with only Royal guests on board.
The Alaskan Railroad direct train operates from the downtown Anchorage station and ends at the public train station in Seward. This is a ten minute walk or a complimentary coach ride to the cruise terminal. The direct train leaves early in the morning and arrives in Seward mid-day. Anyone can book the direct train including tourists who are not taking a cruise.
Goldstar isn't always offered on the Royal charter train. It depends. I'd call and ask. If it is the on-board experience will be the same as the direct Goldstar booked train.
In both cases once you handoff your luggage in Anchorage you won't see it again until it is outside your cabin door on the ship.
Personally I like arriving earlier to the ship so I tend to book direct.
Yeah this is a Northbound from Vancouver to Anchorage cruise

Thanks for replying everyone. We have another question, We have 3 adults, so we want separate beds/cabins, so we're thinking about going with either a junior suite for one leg and 2 inside cabins for another, or 2 balconies for both. Which do yall suggest on doing? Thanks!

We are planning on taking 2 back-to-back 7 night cruises with my family and I'm in a solo cabin. I currently have 70 Crown and Anchor points. Since solo cabin is worth double, I'll get 14 points the first leg, and 14 the second. So after the first sailing, I'll achieve Diamond status. My question is, on my second sailing will they honor diamond status? I know it takes a week for the points to update, but if I tell the Crown representative, will they honor it? Thanks!

Hi all. My family and I are looking to go on a 7 day cruise to Alaska. This would be our first time there. We wanted to go one-way in order to see more places, and we want Quantum class. But since we've only been on Oasis class, we aren't sure which ship would be good for Alaska. Any tips for itineraries, ships or excursions would be helpful!

I'm crusing with my parents on a Harmony OTS in a CLS (our first ever suite!!) And I was wondering how comfy the sofa bed is. Would it be good enough to sleep in it for a week? What about the pillow menu? Does that apply to the sofa bed as well?
Thanks!

I'm not sure the best way to contact Matt about this, but YouTuber Mr Beast did a video on Harmony of the Seas if you want to do an article about it

One or more of: chocolate covered strawberries, cheese plate, fruit plate. It's possible one or more could show up at any time throughout the cruise, too.
I'm still mad they did away with the cookies. I haven't seen the sushi plate since the restart, either.
No more cookies?! How dare them!

What food does Royal leave you in a suite on Harmony? On some suite review videos, some of them show food in the room on embarkation day. I'm asking this because I wanted to surprise my parents with chocolate covered strawberries, but I didn't want to buy it if they already come inside the room. I'm am Emerald member in a CLS if that matters.

How do you get access to your suite when seapass cards are outside your stateroom and deck 17 is not available to access if you don't have your card? Are suite guests given their sea pass card when you check-in, or is deck 17 already unlocked on embarkation day?

There is a cruise planner sale going on right now and I plan on buying the soda package and 3 night dining package. Soda is $9/day and 3 night is $112 pp. Should I wait or go ahead and pull the trigger?

I turned platinum a couple of cruises ago and never got my pin. On my next cruise, who do I tell? I'm sailing in a suite and will access to concierge. Should I tell them?

Wow update! I browsed around at other sailings and found a Spacious AquaTheater Suite - 1 Bedroom on Harmony for the price on the sailing that I was looking at the OS/CLS. Now I have NO idea what we're going to go with! Can you hear the aqua shows from inside the room? I ask again, which would ya'll go with? #FirstWorldProblems

The CLS should have 4 chairs for the dining table. It is on wheels and slides away from the wall and there are usually chairs on both sides of the table.
Ah okay thanks. The photos made it look like there were only two. Do you think that we could fit a lounger on the balcony? There's 3 of us.

Concur that for 3 people, the CLS is a winner over an OS as long as whoever is going to sleep upstairs can handle the stairs. One major drawback of the OS on the Oasis class ships (sans Symphony) is that you must choose between having a structural pole at your front door or having your room connect to an adjacent room. All of the O class OS have one or the other of these undesirable configurations. Thank goodness they removed all of the connecting rooms on SY but the first 3 all have some of them….and the ones without connecting rooms, have “the pole”.
Yeah I don't think we would mind the pole or connecting. Only thing in my head pulling away from CLS is the balcony. It looks tiny width wise. Do you think we could get an extra recliner and an extra chair for the dining room inside?
