Is there such a thing as a crappy location for a CL suite though?

@D AltExcellent point! We are on Independence.

We have a pretty early embarkation time and no unvaccinated passengers. This is our first RCL cruise, so I was wondering what's your tips and tricks for lunch on embarkation day? We prefer quieter venues, and I am not sure if the Solarium is open. Also, where should we sit for the best view? Thanks for your advice!

How do you get this perk? Do you have to book through Amex Travel? What if you take advantage of booking a new cruise while on a cruise?

I would TOTALLY have fallen for that, and would have likely asked others nearby if they could see the submarines.

As someone who is fairly gullible (I once looked for a dictionary to prove that the word gullible was, indeed, in the dictionary) I love when my friends play good natured jokes on me. I find it fun and only get upset if it goes on too long or it doesn't stop when I ask. If she enjoys it, then I don't see a problem. I personally embrace my gullibleness (not actually sure if THAT one is in the dictionary....)

Do you buy the plastic surrounding the luggage tags, or is that provided? First time on RC in about 35 days (fingers crossed that FOURTH time is a charm)!

Maybe drop the car at the port and/or at EWR before your cruise and take a shuttle to/from the cruise?

Do you mean that you plan to drive from Toronto to New Jersey then fly from EWR?

I just purchased some excursions for a trip in March 2022, partially using on board credit. I am HOPING the prices go down (I hear Black Friday is good for that). If they do and I cancel my current purchases, what can I expect? Will the OBC be refunded immediately, or will I have to wait to use again? Thanks all!

I have no idea. I would start a new thread to ask if I were you so more people see your question. Is this a RCL transfer? It seems that when you board a RCL shuttle and when you actually depart are two very different things.

So this is how my experience has gone so far: I logged in to the app this morning, and selected the "Check In" button. I received a message that the check in is not open yet, but when I swipe right, under check in it says "See you at 12PM" and my SetSail Pass is there. On the computer, it still says check-in not available, so I am not able to confirm that way yet, but it looks like my original check-in time DID transfer, but I'm not able to make any changes (not that I would want to, 12pm is a great time!). Hope that helps!

I wish this were a thing....I won't drink enough to justify the cost.... and I won't purchase more than a drink a day if I don't have a package. Too bad they don't have a drink punch card like they do for coffee. 

My app is telling me that my new check-in date will be in two days (even though we already checked-in weeks ago). I saw someone said that their previous time stayed when the check-in reopened, but does anyone know if that is the rule and not the exception? Has anyone had the OPPOSITE happen (check-in time was gone and had to select their time again)?

How long was your cruise? I doubt they will be getting a lot of COVID cases off the 3 day ones (that's my first planned cruise). Even if someone had it, it may not be enough time to actually track transmission. My guess is you will see more cases on longer cruises, because it may be difficult to say if someone contracted it on a 3-day cruise vice getting it on a plane or on shore before the cruise.

Maybe a bunch of people bid the max and they go by whoever bid first? That would be my guess...

Is there a Formal Night/Wear Your Best on 3 day cruises? Asking for packing purposes.

Ohhhhhh I hope that's true!!!!! We have a GREAT check-in time I don't want to lose!

Especially if you rent a car for those days....having said that...I really like Kennedy Space Center as well, but I'm a bit of a space nerd.

What would be the downside? I feel like it has the potential to boost Native economy, but am not sure of the cons.
