  1. Quantum class doesn't do shows like other classes. The theater shows don't require a reservation. There is no comedy club so comedian will be in theater, so will the Effectors. So the Book is the only show with required reservations.
  2. With the ice show the falls are always heartbreaking but I often appreciate how the audience handles them. I am glad your cruise is still ongoing
  3. I hope the OP means excursions in Nassau are canceled and not the port stop.
  4. I love these wonder blogs but I don't understand why none of you hang in the casino . I guess I will get all the deets in Jan. But the ice show looks amazing.
  5. You can figure it out based on itineraries. First night is welcome aboard. If the second night is a sea day then french might. Then you will have Caribbean, Mexican or Italian to round out the other two.....that means if it's a Mexican port it will be Italian and Mexican....PDCC, Nassau or Labadee the Caribbean and Italian.
  6. Congrats I don't think it is silly. All milestones matter imho. I get my second block on Allure in Jan, putting me into the 200s, I am excited
  7. Since it's only testing on Freedom, I don't think it matters with the rest of the fleet until they roll it out.
  8. I did one of those turtle baby things years ago and there is always that one person. The staffed explained to be careful and there was this Karen who "raised turtles " and kept picking up the babies, kissing them. Luckily she was removed from the group but she made a huge deal. But anyway I love turtles and the suite lounge offerings look a lot like the "coveted" happy hour snacks from the Crown Lounge .
  9. I echo @WAAAYTOOO, try not to force too much. If you are paying then definitely use a TA to help make things easier. I believe 8 rooms would get you some sort of discount. A July sailing will be exempt from KSF, so you will be paying the full price. Also decide on the best rooms and try to secure them within proximity of each other. If all balcony rooms then on most ships you can open the dividers and make a long area to traverse rooms. Definitely make sure everyone is linked and maybe only require dinner of everyone. The important thing is to be flexible and enjoy yourself. As the "TA" for my last group I would go to the Crown Lounge for my peace.
  10. As the other poster stated, you could try but don't be mad if they make you wait. It also depends on the port. Some will allow you to board regardless of check in time, but some are strict and might enforce within a 30min time limit. I.e they might let you get on at 12:30 for a 1pm check-in.
  11. Are you Emerald?? Just a reminder that if you rank in C&A your pass will be the color of your tier. If you are staying in a suite on Quantum and Oasis class, it will match the seapass card for those suites.
  12. I echo the Portside love. That meat and two fixin's seems right up my alley, but man is that a lot of sauce. I am not a saucy girl, I hate when my meat is drenched in any sauce. But as a bread connoisseur I am looking forward to trying all the breads and butter.
  13. Re: Wonderland I notice the crew just bring you the apps instead of asking what you prefer. I don't think was the original plan but something the servers started doing. Re: Lorenzo Lamas I figured it was at least bride number 5, but I mean he has stayed handsome a very long time, so I am shocked she is 38. I don't think he is a good actor, so I imagine he is a demanding diva.
  14. That bread looks more like the cheesy bread you get in the breadbasket. We had it at 150CP on Allure and everyone raved about it.
  15. It goes back to the card that made the charges, not the card on file unless it is the same one.
  16. This only works if the cooler is on the larger size or the ice bucket is small. On Allure our cooler could only hold the 1L Evian bottle in regard to width.
  17. That MSC ship was docked next to Allure. The zipline was quite unique imho, they zip though those rings. I forget which port you are at, but Mexico is experiencing a lot of rain.
  18. Hello fellow cruisers. On my last sailing, Oct 15th Allure, I had a person in my party who was too sick to attend. I know that CP items and port taxes and fees are returned but how about prepaid gratuity?? I paid on my card, so I received a refund. It was a random lump, so I had to figure out what was returned, and it looks like the gratuities were not. I thought if you didn't cruise, they would also be returned, is this not the case?
  19. I am sure a lot of people do not. On Allure I stood in line for 25min to make my reservations because the app wouldn't allow me to. Then it took almost 20min for the crew member to book me. They made a mess and even then, some restaurants weren't showing available. I had to go to individual restaurants and book, which had availability despite what the app said. Sabor was often a ghost town and at 8:15/8:30 most of the other restaurants were empty. I think the pre-book is going to really work out, but I have long feared the UDP is going up in price anyway.
  20. I am so sorry, I think I mentioned you should have booked Giovanni's for your Dec Oasis sailing in your blog. It was only $15.
  21. I love how perty she looks . I did Odyssey the year after she started sailing and her newness was the major thing I loved about her. Wonder still looks shiny and new. I can really see the wear and tear on other Oasis class ships when I see that JR photo and other places along the Boardwalk.
  22. That CLS is all I care about when RUB comes along for my Jan Allure sailing. I will be solo and ready to enjoy. Heck I would be willing to RUB on mariner from my balcony just to get access to Chops breakfast. So anything on Oasis class would be good.
