  1. I've never seen a drinks package fall dramatically. It will dip a couple of dollars, go back up and dip a couple of dollars down to the same "sale" price that it had been before. No drama that I ever saw.
  2. There is no way to try them all. You will be assigned one of the 4 venues as your MTD restaurant and you will have to go to that one every time unless you choose to eat at another restaurant such as the Windjammer or one of the specialty restaurants. You cannot choose a different main dining room option than the one to which you are assigned. Typically, 2 of the 4 are assigned to classic dining and 2 are assigned to MTD.
  3. My guess is that there will be more than 1 ship at Coco Cay with you
  4. I am on Liberty on 25 August. When is your cruise ?
  5. WOW ! Sounds like a very cool experience. I hope you get someone interested in going with you.
  6. Very sorry to hear about your wife's diagnosis, Bob. That has to be horrifying in so many different ways... Glad to hear that your cancellation and refunds were <finally> resolved satisfactorily and here is to your wife's speedy and full recovery. God speed.
  7. Thank goodness RCCL has Coke products. I think NCL does Pepsi. One reason I rarely go on NCL.
  8. As a general rule, you are correct but I have found that most terminals do a very poor job at this. Usually, once the boarding begins it is a free-for-all with little or no priority given to suites with the single exception of Star Class on the O and Q classes. At least in theory the suites have priority so it never hurts to give yourself the theoretical advantage. Just don't let it ruin your day when it doesn't happen.
  9. BS. Even a "Do Not Disturb" sign from embarkation - disembarkation would not prevent the attendant from cleaning the room after it had been vacated. Too bad if she's in trouble. She should be.
  10. ...or maybe they are considering getting rid of this old, little ships....
  11. I would expect the table minimum for 3 card to be $10. I am not a slots player but I have heard that the slots are always tight on a cruise ship. I would expect the slots to be tight. Good luck. Harmony is a beautiful ship with a great casino.
  12. I thought that one of the big points of the new unlimited dining plan was that you COULD have multiple entrees. I remember it being specifically highlighted. Won't be surprised to hear that Royal has backtracked on that but originally it was definitely a part of the new plan.
  13. Oasis will be sailing out of Fort Lauderdale in December 2020. I am on 6 Dec. It is out of Port Everglades.
  14. I was just wondering earlier today if the Oasis had been having regular Aqua Theater Shows. I had not heard of anyone sailing on O lately. Thanks for letting us know. Are the shows going forward as they have in the past or are they modified ?
  15. You absolutely want to get a final confirmation showing a -0- balance.
  16. It really depends on how they are making the kummelweck. The first ones we ever had were on Allure and they were wonderful. Very lean but tender beef and a wonderful, thin au jus to dip it in. Then some of the ships started using fatty, tough, gristly meat and a thick, nasty gravy. If they would just go back to their original concept it would be awesome but you never know what you're going to get until you see it. One good thing...the bread has always been the good weck bun...at least that has been consistently good. The meat and au jus, however, have been very hit-or-miss recently.
  17. When we went on our Anthem B2B in Feb. we had Yen save us seats in the very front row for WWRY on the first week and back by the lighting and sound booth on the second week. Dan likes to be right up front but I tend to want to sit back a little. We got to see it from both perspectives. Both were very good but I still prefer being back a bit and Dan still prefers being up front ! That's why you must do a Star Class B2B every single time. Problem solved ! I found that sitting back a bit gave us a better "view" of the orchestra which is very unique and interesting to watch on Anthem. The musicians are located up in elevated booths on both sides of the stage and are directed by video feed from the orchestra director who is located God knows where. On our second view of WWRY I found myself watching the musicians more than I was watching the actors. It is definitely a unique and interesting setup.
  18. Trust me, if anyone in Star Class wants to sit in any of those rows they will be there. They can sit in any seats anywhere in the theater.
  19. Sabrina, I think you would like the 2BR ATS for 1 reason - the separate bedroom for the girls. The absolute only downside to the ATS is the walk. If they put that suite somewhere else on the boat (and of course, I realize that its being on the aft is what MAKES it so special) I would get that room every time. I love the fact that there are no stairs and of course the big, big balcony....so nice. I just can't do that walk anymore. But the girls will have their own room AND their own REAL beds.
  20. We LOVED Iberostar. It was lovely....but not at the price that we paid (it was well over $300 just for the 2 of us). I see that it is now in the CP and at a much reduced price. I don't know what's included in the CP excursion but if it includes access to the pool and beach and includes food and drinks....I say it would be a good deal. I don't remember if the one in the CP had trans to the property or not. We took a cab (they had a limo pick-up service but it was a ridiculous price which we declined). The driver told us that Iberostar is closer to the ship than Sandals (our original destination). Iberostar has really fun lazy river which looked like a lot of fun. I could never get onto the float without capsizing so I don't know exactly HOW much fun it was but I can guess. I do recommend the property. The price, and what is included, would be the discriminator for me.
