Did this last night !

Slow morning. We will be arriving in San Juan around 2PM and gangplank up at 9:30PM. Kinda crappy hours at this port. We’ll be staying onboard (big shock - not). They’ve removed the laptops from the Crown Lounge (ugh) so not sure where to go now. I’ll try the Library. Can’t remember if EX has laptops in there or not. Maybe the VOOM area has some - wherever that is… Both Dan and I managed to eke out small wins in the casino last night so that’s 3 days in a row that we are both winners. That’s never ever happened before. I believe this is b/c points are entirely irrelevant to us on this cruise so we’re willing to play for short periods of time and walk away when we are ahead. Probably a lesson for us to remember once the new casino year starts. Chasing points is a trap…for us, anyway. Dinner last night was Italian night in the MDR with Gail and Roger . My Chicken Parm was once again, good enough. Never incredible, never awful. I wish I could say that about my dinner night before last. I was quickly reminded why I hate French night. I wanted nothing on the menu so ordered the “standby” grilled chicken breast. Tasted (and looked) like a warn out truck tire. Why do I keep trying ? Dinner tonite at Chops with Joe and Mary. Last night at dinner we celebrated Gail’s open water snorkeling certification. She nearly failed b/c she refused to spit in her mask (to prevent fogging) and the snorkel master (Dan) was not happy…but she pretended to spit which turned out to be good enough, so she’s now fully certified. . We celebrated with one of the bottles of Chandon that we received as one of our Loyalty gifts. They originally brought the wrong champagne (again…same thing happened on EX last month) so when they brought the correct one, they brought 2 bottles ! Woohoo ! The weather is still beautiful with smooth seas. Enjoying this one very much.

Ugh. Sounds like you have more issues than most, @Pattycruise. Your account sounds fatally jacked-up. I got an email from Club Royale last week, welcoming me to Club Royale and announcing that I was a brand new Choice member with a whopping 77 points. I’m sure that’s a clear indication that I have a MINIMUM of 2 CR accounts now… Today I got notified that the cruise points from my LAST cruise had posted but the ones from my next-to-last cruise still have not posted. I thought about going to see the Loyalty Ambassador here on EX but I think I will just wait until we get home and call. As nice a guy as he is, the LA here is newish to the job and fairly clueless.

Had a wonderful day in Labadee. The water and weather were truly perfect.

Dinner tonite at Gios with Joe and Mary. Gail and Roger are in the MDR and Dan and I will be joining them for MTD tomorrow night. For the first time EVER Dan and I managed to convert all of the free play (plus some ) into folding dollars ! We never manage to win with our free play, but we did tonite ! Yippee ! It would be great if this trend continues, but I’m not holding my breath! Good start though. Sea day tomorrow, then Labadee.

Delay in boarding. Something about some kind of Customs “issues”. Nothing more in the way of an explanation. We finally boarded a bit after 1PM. It doesn’t seem as if there will be any delay in leaving port so that’s good news. still waiting on luggage to be delivered. All 6 of us enjoyed a wonderful lunch together at Chops. Now I’m stuffed ! This is going to be a fun cruise. Great company !

I'm going to say "yes". It seems like the Dining Room has been very accommodating to most requests of late. I would simply go to the MDR ASAP after boarding and check. I'll bet they will let you switch.

Yes, they do serve pizza at the Park Cafe in the Solarium but I have never tried it so I don't know how good (or bad) it is.

We have had the BoA Royal CAribbean Visa card for many years. I don't recall seeing a survey but more than likely I would have just trashed it anyway. If they start charging an annual fee that will be the end of THAT relationship.

Would we do that to our 51st State ? JK

I love Caprese salad....except for the one that has the super sweet syrup or whatever it is. I think that one comes from Jamie's. This one looks like one of the "good" ones. Did it have a sweet drizzle or is that just the balsamic glaze ?
