  1. It costs $24.99 for each photo. They can print it or email you a copy. Don't wait until the last night, it gets pretty crowded.
  2. On Anthem last week. We Will Rock You was only offerred on the last two days. Afternoon, evening, and the following afternoon. No reservations required and plenty of seating available for our 7:45 pm show. The Headliner (Jason Bishop) the night before was SRO.
  3. Talk to the Loyalty Ambassador during the first voyage and you should be good to go for the second sailing. Hopefully you get your pin (s) too.
  4. Just returned from 11 days on Anthem. Met our cabin attendant the first night and when he asked if we needed anything, we requested the daily compass. Problem solved! Other items we requested: extra blanket (it was cold leaving and returning to NYC), wine glasses. We encouraged our attendant to take a "day off" from servicing our cabin and provided a nice tip at the end of the voyage.
  5. In Aruba, we booked UTV tour with ABC tours. Great way to see lots of sights and very fun! Curacao we explored on our own....... the moving bridge, the locks of love, great cafe right on the water, and beaches nearby. We used our credit cards with no issues.
  6. Maybe they are having IT issues. We are having a similar problem with the website and unable to print luggage tags the past 2 days. Guess we will request them at the port.
  7. We are taking train from Virginia to NYC (Penn Station) and spending night near Times Square. Anyone have a good suggestion for best way to get to port from Times Sq? When ship returns to Bayonne, we plan to UBER from port to Newark train station for the ride back home to Virginia. Will report back on how it went!
  8. Sorry about your flights. Good idea to have backup flights. We are flying Alaska in March and hope they have it sorted out by then
  9. We will be sailing out of Galveston in October......and flying into Houston. Does anyone know if there is a Buc-cees on the way?
  10. @Cactus527....thanks for response. We booked multiple dining and excursions but had excursion cancelled by Royalthat gave us a big credit. The "Pre Cruise" part is what made me nervous that it had to be spent before the cruise. Might be a good time to try a Flow Rider Surf lesson, or sign up for another round at Chef's Table.
  11. Hello everyone! We have a cruise coming up in 9 days and had a question about our credit. The cruise planner says we have a $300 credit "to spend on pre-cruise purhases!" Does this mean we must use the credit before the sailing or we lose it. Or can we use it for gratuities, drinks, wi fi, and other things during our voyage? As always, thank you for your assistance.
  12. @Karannk.....great ship and intinerary. Your grand loft will be amazing. We will be doing almost the same 11 day trip on January 18th.
  13. Is Kraken included or an upcharge if we order a Lava Flow, Pina Colada, Miami Vice using our Diamond vouchers?
  14. Northern Europe/Norway, Panama Canal, and Japan are on our bucket list. But being able to travel with loved ones every year is the best reward.
  15. Great responses everybody. We thought of matching holiday shirts, ugly sweaters, and santa hats. Didn't think about stockings or door decorations---great ideas. Understand that passenger mix can influence the overall experience.....what about Royal, what types of things do they do? Sing-a-longs? Special Christmas themed meals? Egg nog is a given, what about other Holiday themed drinks? Gingerbread house making? Any special towel animals? Christmas trivia? Does the crew dress up in Holiday outfits?
  16. Happy Holidays fellow cruisers! We did a New Year's Eve cruise a few years ago and had a great time. We are booked on Oasis for a Christmas cruise next year and looking for information. Is anyone sailing during Christmas week this year that can share cruise planner or highlights of seasonal activities /special events/treats that take place during Christmas week? We've heard about sing-a-longs, ugly sweaters, and great decorations. Do these things really happen? Please share your previous or current experiences so we can get excited planning for next year. Thank you so much!
  17. Haven't done a TA yet, but prefer to go to Europe for a few days, and sail back to US. T I have a tendency to want to go home once cruise is over.
  18. Thanks again.....I think I have it. My wife and I are both D+, so does mean I book Chops, she eats free, she books Jamie's, I eat free? No sense using the cruise planner as we won't be eligible for the discount.
  19. Appreciate the advice.......this will be our first time using the BOGO. If we plan to go to Chops and Jamie's Italian, when do we need to "book" and plan our two specialty dining and who do we need to see when we get on ship?
  20. How about the D+ BOGO speciality dining? Does it work for 3 day cruises the same as 7 or 12 days?
  21. We are D+. Is there a certain amount of cruise days required for each of us to get 2 free days? I thought I read cruise must be more than 5 days to get some of the perks.
  22. @Plasticbrain.....What kind of weather should we expect in the middle of May for these ports?
  23. Thanks @Matt for the link. Lot of good information in your blog post. Curious if the ships get the "water cannon" treatment when they depart their home port? What happens to everyone that booked the ship if it gets delayed?
