For our Anthem cruise on Sunday, it looks like our friends from FL will not be able to cancel their flights and therefore are still cruising. So we will join them as planned and hope for the best. I am looking forward to seeing Coco Cay.

@WAAAYTOOO Can I ask what I hope is a related question? We will embark on the Anthem on Sunday. I think I remember you and others talking about a specialty embarkation day lunch where the UDP could be used. Is this at all correct?

@Zacks Hi and welcome to the RCB forums! I understand where you are coming from. We on the senior bubble and are scheduled to cruise this Sunday. Currently RCL is not offering an option like you are describing at this time. But, I am guessing if the virus scare keeps getting worse then RCL just might - but again not now. If we had an option to just cancel we would, but we can't. On another RCB thread, some cruisers have reported sending doctor notes to travel agents which have worked. I am not sure about this, but maybe this could be an option for you. Good luck to you whatever you decide.

Yes, I would guess that your cruise is beyond RCL's time scope...

Good question. We got our email notification last night at 6:52PM. We have received emails from RCL everyday this week with updates on our Sunday cruise. Celebrity sent the same email - but much earlier in the day yesterday. Refunding sick passengers was not new as of yesterday for RCL. They have been doing that for weeks!

@Allen2 I am guessing you received your credit on 3/5 not 4/5. If so, that is fast! So, can you confirm that for the most part this benefit is combine-able with other RCL offers?

@Neesa Good question. Sorry, although I have had the stock in the past, I don't currently own it. I am guessing you already saw this RCL excerpt. It says you can mail, fax, or email your request. For inquiries, are you calling the number listed below?

We did the White Pass Railway the first time we were in Skagway. I think everyone should do it once. Unfortunately, the day we went it was raining (which is does quite a bit up there) and our views were diminished. It would be nice to know what the weather will be like before taking that trip. Sorry, we did not do the suspension bridge. Good luck with your decision. I am sure you will love Skagway no matter what you do there...

What did RCL say when you called? Did you ask them what would happen if your airline cancels your flight? Please let us know. I am cruising this Sunday and am quite nervous. @basil Are those prices what you need to add to your existing fare to book them? Did you originally book through Expedia? Wow, if that is what it is - you should go for it!

Ahhhh, I completely understand. Lucky for us, our Sunday cruise is drive-able for us. If it wasn't I would really want out!
