  1. @Carlos A.I just went to my account, same here. My sailings are gone, just know it is most likely Royal IT not just you. It will probably work itself out in a few hours. Maybe reach out on Social Media or call, they should be able to give you an update. It's not just you and this type of thing had happened before, they are in there tinkering with something un be known to us.... Update, I agree with @Xaa I feel for you and also am sorry it messed with check in! Fingers crossed for you it gets back on line soon for you!
  2. The passport shows delivered? Okay, this happened to me. I went to the post office in charge of my mail, with "proof" it said delivered. They actually tracked it down, delivered to a similar address and the people had it not getting around to returning to post office. The post office personnel tracked it down and retrieved it for me. Worth a try, good luck we are all rooting for you.
  3. @Matt any idea, premonition, thoughts about fleet movements for this timeframe? Have you heard any whispers? Im concentrating on Port Canaveral, Tampa or Port Everglades (celebrity) June 2024. Thanks a bunch!
  4. I am rooting for you! Positive thoughts being sent your way. I'm following along and looking forward to this adventure. I think you owe yourself an additional sailing after this group event. Stay and do a nice solo sailing to recover
  5. Congratulations!! 45 Years? I venture to guess he already probably knows Such an incredible milestone, so happy for you!
  6. Sorry slight hijack; May I ask how does D+ on Royal translate to Celebrity? I was up super early to possibly book the Icon for June 2024 but she wasn't for me. Before anyone comes for me it's not the "family focus" that was the problem. It was just so much going on, so many colors, so many other passengers. Just way to much "stimulation?" for lack of a better description. I'm super happy for everyone of you all who are going to enjoy her, I know me and I would not. Such a personal thing, it's nice Royal really seemed to hit this one out of the park, kind of bringing the theme park frenzy to the ship. I also wasn't super excited about the ho hum Itineraries. I digress, seriously researching Celebrity now (no not Virgin, seems like an adult themed theme park) & am looking for insights for a family of 3. Thanks so much!
  7. I'm waiting for June 2024 to be released sailing from Florida. (High School Graduation Celebration sailing) Really hoping since this one is so special I can comfortably book a Star Class. I created a monster, I'm good as long as I am sailing, kiddo would love a Star journey. When on the Harmony in August I asked at Next Cruise and the young lady said December this year. I just checked June 2023 on the Wonder & the sailing for a Grand suite was 16,700.00, for the 3 of us. A 7 night western itinerary, so I am nervous about the price points for summer 2024 for sure.
  8. @tonyfsu21 Yes I believe up until 1800hrs. On our last sailing they sent me an email from Royal Up I wish I saved it. Essentially it was about 4 days before the sailing & said while your bid has not been accepted we have passed it on to the ship's crew. They may choose you for an upgrade up to 1800hrs day of embarkation. If you are not interested in this please feel free to cancel bid now. I didn't cancel and didn't unpack before going to dinner. While at dinner about 1830hrs I received an email saying bid unsuccessful. At the end of my evening before bed I unpacked. I am at 0 for 27 or 28 tries but like @Ampurp85opined I usually stay in Sky class and there is not much wiggle room from there. Something about Royal Up though, I love to bid sometimes I go in and change bids after I placed them in either direction, it's addictive I love it!
  9. We were on Deck 17 on the Harmony and one of our magnets was taken. It had dolphins and said Three best friends cruise! I was so upset but they always left the doors open to that deck. I did find it though, I walked round the entire deck, they just moved it to another door on the port side. Sadly I removed all my magnets from the door for the rest of the sailing. Some sailings it happens, I've been on a total of 18 sailings and only twice were my magnets violated. But do not put out a white board and marker. Do that and boy oh boy, just wow!
  10. @RCLblue10 our go to is Etsy.com when we want cruise specific items. They have a great many offerings to choose from.
  11. @Lisa1 for my part "ghost booking" I go into the Royal website and find the ship, date and itinerary I'm interested in. Then I go in and start booking it putting in my applicable promotions, State of residence for me the senior box is checked and then I go in and locate the cabin category I want and finally choose my cabin(s). At this point you know all availability and cost of what you like and at this point they ask for specifics. I make notes and then back out to first page of booking thus not taking the cabins out of inventory, then contact my MEI TA usually with a quick email and she goes in and actually books the trip. Or I find something didn't work for me, cabin or price and just step away for another day. Happy sailing!
  12. Yay! You will love this family experience. The Harmony (Oasis class) has an eight night southern in February 2023 that leaves from Port Everglades. I just ghost booked 2 connecting ocean views they R in the front deck 8 for 5,000. This way you have two bathrooms, teens ? Yes, my suggestion 2 cabins! Of course you can do connecting in other categories also but this is the route I would go for comfort, 2 cabins for sure. The Harmony has so much to do and not do, you vacation your way. She is a great ship, she was my first too! I love that southern itinerary as well. Welcome and ask away, we love helping you enjoy your sailing. Put one adult and one teen in each cabin and link the reservations and off you go. Using a travel agent will really help you as well, most of us here use MEI travel. Happy Sailing!
  13. On our Mariner sailing it appeared top tier Pins and possibly D+ preferred the suite lounge so we would check and as it was standing room only every evening we went over to the Diamond lounge which was empty. So funny pretty identical spaces. We personally don't enjoy thus spend very little time in the Diamond lounge on the Oasis class as it feels like you are in a shoe box, I'm a big venue person, I don't enjoy it on that class. Caveat, I thought I would enjoy the Allure Diamond lounge but they closed the upper level and once again standing room only, but we did visit off times.
  14. If you used a TA they will link it, if not go into your Royal account and where it says missing reservation add your brother in laws reservation #. I think you may need his birthday as well.
  15. @Sunny_D we went on our sailing with the understanding ahead of time we would all board separately at our specific times and take care of muster first. After that we agreed to meet at the Solarium Bistro, not as crazy as WJ yet a great spot to share our first meal. While at lunch hit that Royal App and schedule your must see shows for the group, if you are linked you can do it for all. May I suggest Aqua Show, Ice Show and Mama Mia as must sees. After that we all went to the cabins but had made plans while at lunch for the evening. We had our concierge reserve a table in the MDR for the 6 of us and perused the CK menu and did spilt from MDR for CK a bunch of evenings depending on the menu. Everyone was good as a little space is cool. ***link your reservations asap AND place your brother in law on a wait list for at least a grand suite, seriously cabins open up all the time. Have an amazing time.
  16. Here you go. I knew I had these. So far this has been in all the SUITES we stayed in. Except the body lotion was not on the Mariner in June. Daughter liked it so I purchased on line for her at home. Personally for me the fragrances are on the stronger side, as I age I am very sensitive to fragrance. I liked the products otherwise.
  17. (I have vertigo so I feel for her)We rented the water park cabana a few times when we visited the Island. I personally supervised the cabana and the wave pool, ESPECIALLY WITH CABANA SERVICE!!, LOL Everyone else enjoyed the water park to the fullest. When there are two ships there especially that felt the way to go. There you have a dedicated home base, entrance to water park for 6 I believe & when the second ship leaves the park emptied out. We were the second ship in so this was nice. If we were to be the first ship we would have headed out as early as possible to take advantage of shorter lines. Purchase the cabana when they are available & then watch for a price drop, thus securing one for your family. Call Royal for the price decrease adjustment, once I canceled on line and then when I went right back in to purchase and the cabana was gone. HAVE A GREAT TIME
  18. @Templecruiser That standard is right on the beach probably the easiest and safest location for you & the "4" year olds LOL! I would go straight to the cabana order a round of drinks with the cabana attendant while adding maybe a $20.00 & no one will even "see" the kids if in fact this is something newly instituted. I could see the hilltop or over water posing a bit more concern with the kids, but the beach ones, no. They are closest to the bathrooms, showers, food & bars. It's going be be wonderful! $399.00 that's an amazing price.
  19. Yes, that price is a steal. It's my favorite beach day!
  20. I would call because we were just there this past summer and we rented one on the beach. The children were everywhere. Good luck, please let us know! Only one person rents them, you rent it and bring the others up to the cabana capacity.
  21. No age limit, it was a suites and pinnacles beach, not an adult only. The cabanas were not selling out so they opened the cabanas on that beach for everyone, the young kids are everywhere there. Enjoy, its a beautiful spot!
  22. If I'm not mistaken my girlfriend just found a promotion saving her about 300.00. Paid in full a few weeks ago RCCL refused the OBC for the difference. After final payment and after 09/30/22 your price is once again locked. No more OBC if the fare is reduced. We tried calling Royal separately and they were adamant, no adjustments. So back to before the shut down. Just wanted to let everyone know paying the balance stops your price adjustments it seems. Another justification for using a TA. If she used one she probably would have known this. I for one like the idea of not paying in full until the due date . Has this happened to anyone else?
  23. Beware the patches (mine was Scopolamine Transdermal) side effects. When you stated possibly would "try" them before the cruise I just felt the need to share my experience. My Doctor prescribed them and the pharmacy filled the order. At no time was I advised that the sea sick patches while providing relief must run their course. They worked fine but the cotton mouth was a bit annoying. I was scared my first sailing so I faithfully replaced them every 3rd day as directed on my 7 night sailing. My 3rd patch I ripped off on the drive home after only wearing it the previous day, OMG I almost went to the emergency room. DON'T DO THAT. Let the patch run it's course, the withdrawal is brutal. I don't use them much anymore but if I must, I wear it until it practically falls off by itself then I don't seem to have any withdrawal discomforts.
