  1. Remember when you are talking to Optum, they have NOTHING to do with Royal Caribbean, anything they tell you regarding cruise line operations can not be relied upon.
  2. The 48 hour “advice” you were given was absolutely incorrect. It’s been stated quite clearly on the Royal website and has been unwavering, it is 2 calendar days
  3. I don’t believe they are licensed to proctor exams in any country other then the USA, I don’t know how this would come into play with the Canadian citizens.
  4. Let me try a screenshot then. I agree 100%, as a healthcare provider myself, I find this frustrating, but not all that surprising. Selfishly, I would just love the kits I have last long enough to test for my Feb Allure cruise as well as my November Liberty.
  5. I have attached the link from the email response i received. It tells a completely contradictory story. My boxes have a printed expiration of Oct 15, 21 and a Manufacture date of Feb 4, 21. The body of the response I received would lead me to believe my new expiration date is Feb 4, 22 however the PDF attached to the very same response leads one to believe the expiration is Jan 5, 22. Expiration_date_extention.pdf
  6. Evidently Covid does not spread until you cross the threshold and are actually on the ship………….
  7. And I got a completely different answer to the same exact question
  8. https://www.amazon.com/Anti-Fog-Prevents-Fogging-Binoculars-Solution/dp/B07PBCZ7C6/ref=asc_df_B07PBCZ7C6/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=366289905286&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12967747665350959054&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9026833&hvtargid=pla-865071754517&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=79098075347&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=366289905286&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12967747665350959054&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9026833&hvtargid=pla-865071754517 This one works well, it's a small bottle so easy for travel. I will spray my glasses in the morning, and then depending on activity level, maybe again in the mid afternoon and am good through the evening. They also make an impregnated towelette, but I haven't had as good luck with it with regards to durability of the effect.
  9. I use the "anti fog" spray that is sold for snow skiing goggles, it NEARLY eliminates the fogging up of the glasses and sunglasses.
  10. I get it, I am a Big fan of the home test
  11. I don't put a lot of stock in the verbiage used here, "at home" test is pretty broad label. Both Binax tests are basically the same, the cost difference in the two comes from the cost of the ASCP proctoring and validation of results. It is one thing to CAP a price on a commodity, it's another to CAP the price on professional services, which the proctoring is. Also, the "at cost" remarks mentioned specific retailers that are not permitted to sell the proctored version, only the "at home" test.
  12. The POC tests he mentioned being sold at cost (for only a limited amount of time) are not the proctored version. Good thing however is the mandates he is proposing, along with Defense Act production, will increase the number of tests on hand, and run through these soon to expire tests rather quickly.
  13. Just say you don't have insurance, and the test is automatically billed to the federal government for reimbursement, as long as you are at a participating provider in the fed program; all major drugstore chains are participation members.
  14. Yes 3 people can use the kits in your 3 pack You will have to make 3 different calls, from each persons own Navica account. You can order now and will be good for November, (kits shipping now have January expiration) SIDE BAR : just my personal opinion, but I would be nervous testing for 3 people with a 3 pack; simply because if you have a faulty test (which has been noted), or have an oops moment with one, you have no backup and your perfect testing plans could be compromised.
  15. Folks come to breakfast (MDR and Windjammer) in the robes, so evidently nothing is off limits.
  16. I sent them (E Med) a message from their support page, and this was the response I received: I Asked specifically about 195-100 VS 195-200 and as you can see they did not address that question at all.
  17. I guess that’s one of the benefits of base fare being nearly doubled
  18. Royal changed to 12 and over vaccinated regardless of destination out of Florida, just like the rest of the embarkation states.
  19. Walgreens ID Now is on the list of approved acceptable tests.
  20. holy crap!! How did I miss that date?? This is embarrassing
  21. https://cen.acs.org/analytical-chemistry/diagnostics/COVID-19-antigen-assay-set/98/i34 Looks like they are preparing to produce 50 million tests per month
