Windjammer Serve Yourself???
Palm Tree Mike replied to Palm Tree Mike's topic in Royal Caribbean Dining
Wife got off of Harmony last weekend and the crew was still serving in Windjammer but looks like fleet going back to the pre-Covid days. Don't think required vaccination is going away too soon thought since soo many islands still require it. -
Just saw where someone on Allure posted that the Windjammer was now serve yourself! Guess Royal is no longer worried about Covid, the flu; colds or the Norovirus coming back. Liked being served by the crew up there and will have to give some thought to where I will be eating lunch.

Just notified that our cruise on Independence Of The Seas at end of November will not be stopping on Grand Bahama Island (Freeport). Anyone know why? No explanation from Royal. Giving us a sea day instead and YUCK...staying in Nassau until 8PM. Strange since they spent all those millions redoing the port in Freeport.

Just got off Brilliance Of The Seas after doing a 4 and 5 night back to backs out of Tampa. Scrambled eggs the 3 times i tried them in the Windjammer were gooey and runny. Eggs in the main dining room were far better.

Invicta watches on board, SCAM !!!
Palm Tree Mike replied to Vlad's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
The Invicta Quartz Watch movements are made in Japan where even far pricier brands are. And Invicta was bought out by a Hollywood Florida company. I have six that i am very happy with that i bought on the Invicta website invictastores.com. Just don't believe all the retail prices shown. But we just got back from doing a four and five night back to backs on Brilliance Of The Seas where i spotted a watch in the shops i had been looking for quite some time; the Invicta Pro Diver which was out of stock everywhere and out of production. Well the price tag read $995 which i knew was a joke since Invicta retailed it as a $300 watch that i could have gotten on their website for $80 if available. But wanting that big thick, heavy clunker of a watch i shelled out $156. so I'm happy. Just would suggest if you see a watch your interested in on any cruise ship you check it out on line first before purchasing. But of course Royal is probably charging you for that wifi.
