  1. The ability to print the CP calendar went away about 2 or 3 website “upgrades” ago.
  2. Spanish VAT; this has nothing to do with Royal Caribbean
  3. The changing of an Oasis class Broadway show very rarely happens
  4. Keep in mind the 12 bottle package is for 1 liter bottles X12
  5. Another reason to book a suite; plus when you get towels on the pool deck or upon disembarkation at a port stop, you cards are not scanned for towels.
  6. yes, there have been instances of IDB; at lease 2 in the last few months that have been discussed heavily on travel forums.
  7. Hard to believe or not, it is a legitimate occurrence a couple times a year.
  8. On Royal, I often find complimentary towels on the loungers in the solarium in the early morning hours- VERY convenient and considerate. <WINK WINK>
  9. This is a fan site, no affiliation to Royal Caribbean This is an EXCELLENT place for new cruisers, such as yourself to learn all manner of things, and to get excellent advice. Writing a post about taking your business elsewhere really needs to be sent to the corporate entity, not the fan club. EVERY mainstream cruise line out there cancels pre booked ships if the offer from the charter is strong enough (and YES, they ALL handle it EXACTLY the same way)
  10. you do realize this board has no affiliation with Royal Caribbean?
  11. I always have mine printed onboard; have heard too many stories of digital files never received. Prints and digital download cost exactly the same
  12. The “raised seal” advice is no longer applicable. It must be a certified copy from the issuing agency; but many places do not use a “raised seal”
  13. Allure can not have WOW bands, the ship has not been amped (thank god) and does not have RFID or NFC tech onboard.
  14. Still need the card to leave and return to the ship, at the very least
  15. To reiterate others comments, the Windjammer has closed at 9PM for at least a decade now.
  16. You can be assured, by mid May, the offsite lots will raise their prices an equal amount.
  17. What makes this one a problem is A. it has a long cord B. it makes a single 110 outlet into 3 As said above, it seems arbitrary and random oftentimes the way things are enforced; however the 2 points I make above, really makes an item prime for refusal. BTW there is no such thing as "cruise line approved" power strips; no cruise line endorses any products; this is just marketing jargon to get the sale.
  18. Have been on Allure twice since her arrival to Galveston; there are no mechanical issues. You may be thinking of Anthem.
  19. You will be fine with your passport on a Closed Loop cruise. The WHTI covers this, and I have cruised with a nearly expired passport multiple times.
  20. This document gives a nice overview, easily perused. It is kept somewhat up to date https://www.royalcaribbean.com/content/dam/royal/countries/ITA/pdf/Fleet-Guide.pdf
