  1. Currently in a GS on Oasis. 11am to 11pm beer, wine (house) soda, bottled water. So available at lunch. You can take it out with you. 5 to 8 happy hour cocktails are available and complimentary
  2. In North America, but not necessarily in countries outside of that.
  3. Symphony in Sep 2022, they started seating MTD on deck 3 about 20 minutes after Early traditional started at the table that were un-used. Even though Early Traditional starts at 5:30 on Deck 3 only (where MTD will seat) most ship have been opening that at 5:01 and encouraging early diners to come at that time. So far this Fall my experience on other ships also is they start seating MTD 15 or 20 minutes after early traditional starts just as soon as they can find available space. YMMV
  4. I was think as I read this that the program used to not have an expiration date, back a number of years. Good find on the paper work, they should honor it with the paperwork.
  5. approx $68-92 USD +18% per person per day. the price all depends on the Ship and sailing Date. if i was using it to plan I would go with the higher figure. Drink package prices are up due to inflation, but so it the per drink cost for mixed achohlic drinks $14. +18% put your per drink cost at $16.52 per drink. Generally you have to have 6+ mixed drinks each day to break even with the package cost.
  6. looks like Oasis last sailing from Miami is 14-21 April 2024. The next sailing is the 9May from Rome (Civitavecchia) Italy. Has it been 5 years since the ship was Amplified? Could be a technical dry dock? it is 3 weeks without a sailing.
  7. Based on current Australian requirements for cruising, all guests will require a negative viral COVID-19 test result taken before boarding: Within 24 hours for Rapid-Antigen Test (RAT) Within 48 hours for PCR They definitely need to test to board, not researching it completely as i don't plan for a cruise from there in near future, but could have been a New Zealand requirement or a coming back to Australia requirement. Good news all were Asymptomatic or mild.
  8. I always redeem, by calling the phone number, when I do they appear within 24 hours.
  9. Both of those time are right in the middle of when we were sitting in traffic at the harpin turn. There are 2 major Logistical problems at Terminal A. First they have a cross walk, where they constantly stop traffic because all the shuttle pick ups and the way to the parking garage are on the other side of the road way, I witnessed this at my debarkation. 2nd they cross traffic in an X pattern with incoming Taxis/Shutles going left to right and departing passenger cars/Ubers crossing right to left. This is only about 50 to 60 yards past the crosswalk. So when they are letting traffic drive through the crosswalk, they are only able to drive that 50 yards when they are stopped again for the crossing Taxi/Shuttle traffic. It is just a badly planned traffic pattern, especially that X crossing of traffic. I just plan to go a lot earlier this time with my 10:30 boarding slot.
  10. Generally accepted by USA federal authorities one letter misspelling are OK sometime 2 letters. more than that you have a problem. Just my experiance
  11. so you'll be there not like I don't belive perks should go to those deserving, for one reason or another, and YOU definitely fall into that category, IMHO
  12. 40+ cruises, multiple cruise lines, in carryon never been confiscated
  13. Both @twangster and @smokeybandit offer sound advice. You need to do the first cruise to see if you like/love it, are still somewhat ambivalent, or Hate it. Either of the first 2 really require a 2nd cruise to know for sure. No mater what the outcome, i hope you find some type of vacation that you enjoy. One of our major ones is cruising, though its not for everyone.
  14. @Adriana every other cruise after this has to be better, the odds are now in your favor.
  15. My experiance in Sep at Terminal A on Symphony was awful using Uber from an Airport hotel to the terminal. W had a 10:30 boarding time and left our hotel at 9:15. It was all of 10:25 till we were able to get out of the uber at port, with the additional wait/delay time charged by Uber the original $17 ride was charged at $28+. at that time we did walk right on to the ship but the wait time to turn the hair pin corner at the far end of the terminal was horrendous. There was an inside lane for Taxis and Shuttles that was moving much faster. Am leaving from the same Terminal on Oasis later this month and am conflicted between going even earlier or taking a taxi for the fast lane.
  16. To be honest I am actual surprised that they let you reschedule a cruise within the final payment window at all, much less for only $100 per person. Though @Ampurp85 suggestion to see what you options are is good advice. Not a TA here but a frequent cruiser, I would think that if your rescheduled cruise is outside of the final payment window that after all the reschedule is completed, you could still go back for a price drop. Again another reason use a Travel Agent to start with considering it cost you nothing.
  17. So let's see, what did we have here, the Solarium was only closed for 4 Days, NOT the entire cruise. Everyone on board received a 20% discount on a future cruise within one year. Just want to make sure the facts get posted.
  18. guaranteed suite will net you nothing better than a Jr Suite. Anything better will be used by Royal Up, leaving the actually booked Jr Suites empty. royal has been doing this a long time and knows how to plan.
  19. At least we do know it support quite a number of local residents that are employed there. Besides it being remote and harder to get to with not much easy return for the time and travel invested. They, the gangs are not stupid, and doubt they'd want to deal with the repercussions.
  20. I for one really liked the "you could not book until you got on board" The major problem with the way they do it, in the App is even if you cancel a show ahead of time because you want to change it, you are lock out from re-booking so you have to go to guest services or see someone. But just one more thing to make it difficult. I have booked my shows for my Xmas sailing on Wonder.
  21. The only time I have been asked if I wanted to share a table is at the MDR Breakfast and Sea Day Lunch seatings, has never happen at a My Time Dinner seating.
  22. Actually on almost every sailing this year, Clearly around HALF are new cruisers. We know this by the numbers given at the Top Tier event. Also if you can't or don't want to have your MTD changed, know that this Fall they have been seating for My Time in the Deck 3 dining room as soon as 30 minutes after early traditional dining has started in the empty seats and in ones as soon as those diners have finished and the tables can be turned around. So going to the dining room early for My Time can get you seated quicker.
  23. Here I always thought that "Kenger" was the original Washy Washy Lady.
