Just curious, if I don’t eat a single meal in the MDR, do the wait staff there still get a portion of my prepaid gratuities? Does Royal track where I have reserved dinner?

We are looking for a beach break excursion in Roatan to take our 4 and 6 YOs. I’m not sure how long they will last at the beach. What’s the best excursion that might offer early/periodic transportation back to the ship if needed?

I'm super excited about so many things about this ship - but I think they missed on what families that travel in suites/prefer sky class want! Only the surfside family suites have separate sleeping areas for kids and none of them are ocean view. Why would I pay suite prices and not even get an ocean view? Couldn't they at least make a few of the sky class suites connecting?? Frustrating that there are so few suite options for parents that don't want to sleep on top of their kids...

Going on a cruise for my birthday and want to book specialty dining for that night. Unfortunately it also happens to be valentines days. Would you avoid specialty dining on Valentine’s Day? Is it chaotic? Do they increase prices?

We have an evening flight out of Miami so I've been researching this as well. I've looked at day passes at hotels as we will have younger children with us but can't seem to find a place that will let us shower, etc after using the pool. I'm hoping others will have more suggestions!

I have had a cruise booked for several months that will sail in February of 2023. Every time I check the cruise planner (the new one) it only shows 3 total shore excursions for a 7 day cruise with 4 ports of call. It shows nothing for Perfect Day at Cococay. Is that normal? Am I looking too far in advance? I called Royal and they said more would show up 'soon'.

I'm trying to buy tickets for Thrill Waterpark for my family. I have one son that will not be 42 inches yet so the Cruise planner will not allow me to buy a ticket for him. Has anyone run into this issue before? The description says children under 42 inches are allowed in the wave pool/activity pool with a life jacket. I thought I could do that with him while my other kid does the water slides. Do they let small children in without a ticket when the rest of the party has tickets?
