Maybe my attitude is wrong but....... This new sweepstakes just feels wrong to me. It makes me feel like I have been moved to the back of the line again after patiently waiting my turn in the original random drawing for test cruises. I should have known this was just a way to get my marketing information like the "free vacation" at the time share resort.

Thanks @Matt. That list is getting short. Hopefully some new test cruises will be announced soon. I still have my fingers crossed for a Baltimore test cruise invite. I am hopeful that by the time they get to Enchantment of the Seas, lower level Crown & Anchor members will be top of the list. ?

Sounds like you had a great test cruise trip. @Matteven got to enjoy a floating cabana. Anyone else getting a test cruise invite? Any news on additional planned test cruises?

I am glad you still have a chance for your NE/Canada cruise. I am sorry for the misinformation. I did not realize it was just Freedom that had been canceled and that other ships were still in a "wait and see" status. Good luck. I rescheduled for September 2022 on Enchantment out of Baltimore.

I am sorry to tell you that all of the New England & Canada cruises for 2021 have been canceled. You should have received an email if you booked through Royal Caribbean. I was booked on Freedom of the Seas out of Cape Liberty, NJ leaving October 14, 2021. I too was hopeful that they would figure a way to make the cruise go but unfortunately due to Canada closing their ports through the first part of next year, the cruises have been canceled.

My question on the topic of requiring a COVID vaccine that I don’t think anyone has discussed….. If a COVID vaccine is required, then wouldn’t that open the door to requiring a whole host of other vaccines for communicable diseases? It seems like a slippery slope for the cruise companies to try to manage. Cruise companies would be called on to require vaccinations for the flu, measles, mumps, meningitis, etc. next. Interested to hear others opinions and thoughts.

My wife and I had hoped to take one final cruise on Grandeur in February but I guess we will probably not get that chance. All of Maryland says good bye to Grandeur. ? And Hello to Enchantment!!! ?

I never noticed before. I guess I am just eager to get on the ship and not paying close attention. Both my wife and I thought the entire hull of the ships were white this whole time.

Is it me or is the bottom of the hull where the ship name is light blue? Hard to tell if it is shadows on the hull but the rail just below the life boats looks white with everything below that looking light blue. Curious people wishing to go on a cruise want to know ?

It is just an email to prompt you to purchase on board items like drinks, dining packages, etc. I got the same email for my sailing on Allure on 12/27/20.

@RustyNold Wondering if you had a chance to go on the cruise back in March before the shutdown. My cruise was for October so it got canceled but we rebook a similar room (1803) for October 2021 on Freedom.
