  1. I think with the new protocols that will be in place, I would cruise in a heartbeat! Now, if I started to hear news of ships with infected passengers, etc., I might take a pass at that time, but I believe all the cruise lines will do everything in their power to insure safety of their crew and passengers and measures to be taken if someone did get sick with the virus. If they say it's okay, then, I'M ALL IN! I just love cruising too much to sit out any longer than I have to!
  2. We are heading down from CT a week from Saturday for a little Celebrity escape! Thanks for the heads up on what looks like a couple of really nice hotels close to the port! Appreciate it!
  3. Mark, Thanks for the heads up! We have plans to get in a couple days early and will hit Ybor City. Looking so forward to this trip. We know it's not the bells and whistles of the newer ships in the fleet, but we're looking for that "sea connection" and that really relaxed atmosphere. Thanks again for the advice! BTW, we're in CT too! ? Eric
  4. We ordered on Oasis last spring. It was a 7.95 delivery charge (We didn't do the continental) for the two of us. Twangster explains it much better! LOL. Food was hot and pretty good. We had pancakes, eggs and some chicken sausage. Also had pastries, as well as coffee and juice and fruit. Our bellies were beyond full. I'd do it again. No Ala Carte pricing and not 7.95 per person! Remember, there is nothing on the menu that I saw that's not available "free of charge" in the Windjammer! Overall, it was pretty nice. Here's a sample of what comes on the breakfast RS menu on Oasis: https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C5CHFA_enUS784US784&q=room+service+breakfast+menu+royal+caribbean+oasis+of+the+seas&tbm=isch&source=univ&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiDhNiR27LgAhXoQd8KHVwvBVQQsAR6BAgCEAE&biw=1440&bih=821#imgrc=15cWq1KhQ73RIM:
  5. Hey Cruisers! Looking ahead to more of loving the cruise life! A lot more! Doing our first TA on Rhapsody out of Tampa on April 27th...a 14 nighter that arrives in Barcelona, Spain on May 11th! Anyone around here gonna be on board? Would love to say "Hi" and just meet some folks who love cruising and RCCL as much as we do. Hit me up if you're gonna be aboard, or just say Hi! Eric "ECruiseLife" Clemons
  6. Hello Fellow Cruisers! New to the discussion, but still remembering this cruise like it was yesterday! Sunrise in Cozumel before heading to a Mayan Pyramid climb! Me with my nieces in the Promenade on Oasis of the Seas...and Me left...and my wife (3rd from left) with our "Sea Dogs" and our best friends, Arthur and Kutabi aboard Oasis. All from April 2018. We had a blast with family and friends!
