We have our first Harmony cruise booked for Nov 1, 2020 but never again.  I already hate it because of the lack of a pool in the solarium!  ☹️

I was on Harmony 2 weeks ago and while It would've been nice to have pool in solarium it really didn't affect our cruise. everything else was near perfect. PERFECT.

While I want to try AMPED Oasis/Allure or Symphony from Port Canaveral, I will not hesitate to book Harmony again in 2021.

    Is it November 4th yet??!!

I'm excited too!  We tend to book as soon as the new itineraries come out, so it's forever until those cruises actually arrive and even foreverer until we book MORE cruises as we await the next set.

I'm in the process of looking for a new job, and I have no idea if I even should book anything when the next set comes out.  As it is, I need 4.5 weeks off in 2020...not sure how much I can negotiate!!

well, refundable deposit is your best friend!

  3. 7 day Caribbean itinerary will be revealed on November 4th..  and I cannot wait!!! lol  I just did a 7 night Western Caribbean on Harmony of the Seas from Port Canaveral.

Do you think Royal will keep Harmony in Port Canaveral for 2021-2022 season after her spring 2021 drydock?  I am now hooked on Oasis class..It was such an amazing ship!!!

Part of me want to try Oasis/Allure/Symphony but absolutely no problem with Harmony again..

Raye trust me don't go on Enchantment.. I wish they would sell her. Honestly it needs so much work I think its a terrible option for Baltimore.. I don't know if a radiance class ship can fit in Baltimore but if it can that's what they should of went with..

What is wrong with Enchantment? too much wear and tear?

I don't recall seeing the Pink Flamingos before but I probably just missed them.

They are sort of a weird looking animal up close with some strange mannerisms but it was fun to watch them for a while.

They have a free tram running down the pier.  It's hot today and this was a welcome break from the sun on the way back to the ship.

It includes "premium coffees" but this package won't work at Starbucks. so..  where can I get these "premium coffees" on Harmony of the seas?? also, what are premium coffees? like Latte?

Curios - what does your cruise planner calendar state for that day?

    This is confusing.

My receipt following final payment AND cruise planner calendar shows following docking time

    Day 2 Perfect Day 8-4

    Day 4 Costa Maya - 11-7

    Day 5 Roatan 7-4

    Day 6 Cozumel 7:30 - 5

BUT!! when I do a mock booking now it shows completely different schedule!

    Day 2 - Perfect Day 7-5

Day 4 - Cozumel!!!!  not Costa Maya!  7-6

    Day 5- Roatan 8-5

    Day 6 - Costa Maya 7-3

    what the..??!!  I am CONFUSED.

  8. Hello!

I will be on Harmony of the Seas on 9/29 and will be visiting Roatan on 10/3.  I was checking my itinerary and on Royal website we will be docking from 7AM - 4PM but on Roatan's official port schedule website our ship will be staying 8 AM - 5 PM.

not sure what to believe/follow..   anyone experience this before?

    thanks!

We're head out this Saturday and have been reading about the seagrass invasion of the Yucatan Peninsula. We have a reservation at Maya Chan that I was sooooo excited about. Got a letter from the resort over the weekend warning about the seagrass and their inability to keep up. Do I cancel? Is there enough to do there if the beach is inaccessible? I really want to try it out, but it's rather expensive. Thank you!

someone posted a photo from last week and it looked really bad. nobody was in water. but poster said he still had a good time eating & drinking.

I wouldn't call any of the rides un-popular.  They were all actively being used.  There were 6 rides on the tall tower:  the "Tallest waterside" ride at the top, next down were the two slides (facing each other) where you stand on the platform at a steep incline, and the bottom drops away and you go flying down.  Next, working your way down was a green one at medium elevation, and at the lowest level were two slides (the tamest) with one open air, and the other fully enclosed (and a little darker, but definitely not black) until they opened up for exit at the bottom.  The shortest lines were for the lower, tamer rides.  The two vertical drop slides had extremely short lines, as they go so quick.

The other group of slides were three different rides.  The "slingslot" and other inner tube ride were at the very top.  You used the same staircase all the way for all the rides.  It was a little confusing as to which line was for which ride as they snaked down the stairs.  The other ride on this shorter tower was the four racer slides where you are head first riding mats.  This one started about two-thirds they way up this tower.  The shortest lines were for the racers (< 5 minutes).  My wife and I passed our son (standing in line for the slingshot) about 4 times as we made several trips down the racer slides, one right after the other.  We also did the other tube ride (either single or two-person tubes), and this one was probably my favorite.  Again, reasonable lines on this one of 5-10 minutes average.  We were certainly able to go multiple times.

Bottom line, the only two rides with extremely long wait times was the "tallest waterslide" and the "slingshot".  Everything else was very reasonable and enjoyable.

    thanks!!
