  1. Waiting patiently as well. Unfortunately I will be in a dentist chair from approximately 11am-1pm Central Time. I might put headphones in and keep phone close by in the event Matt goes live.
  2. In May we received our email exactly 7 days prior to our Harmony cruise. Hopefully you will have Raj and Mohammed. They are amazing!
  3. Buddy who did not have drink package on Liberty said he paid $3.50 plus 18% gratuity.
  4. Anyone happen to get a pic of the Small Bites menu on their recent cruise? We are going on Navigator later this month and wife just noted that they offer a Small Bites menu. She researched the Blog and saw @Matt's post about the Tapas, but was hoping to get access to the full menu for "pre-dinner" options. Found a couple things doing a Google search, but not sure how old the info is.
  5. I am staying home from work on 11-07 so if they announce 2019-2020 cruises I can go further in debt to Royal.
  6. The answer to your questions is yes. You can get in the suite line for priority boarding. Take a look around before doing so as at times other lines are shorter. The link Kathy posted has some additional great info. We have sailed in several Junior Suites mainly because of the additional space, double Crown & Anchor points for sometimes for little more than what it cost for a regular balcony stateroom. What ship are you sailing on?
  7. My SIL works for American. She said that the day before is a nightmare and that day of is actually much calmer since people already want to be at their destination so not to miss lunch. LoL The only issue is parking. All lots will be full. I made a reservation months ago for parking, but might just Uber to and from the airport.
  8. Thanksgiving 2015 was full of drama at the in-laws so we stayed with my family in 2016. Happy to say that things are better now, but when the 2017 sailings opened up we immediately booked a cruise to avoid reliving 2015. Glad we followed Matt and Billy's advice about booking as early as possible and got a great deal on a 9 night sailing (Labadee and the ABC's) on Navigator. We were able to get a Grand Suite for under $1600 per person. That same cabin last month was over $2500 per person and today the Junior Suites are $1900 per person. We arrive in Miami on Thanksgiving day around 1 pm and will board Friday morning. I have a couple questions: Can anyone make recommendations on places to eat on Thursday that will be open on Thanksgiving for lunch and dinner? Will they start decorating the ship for Christmas during our sailing? Looking for excursion suggestions in Curacao. We have a reservation at a resort in Aruba and doing and snorkeling with Woodwind in Bonaire. The wife is more of a sun bunny. She enjoys the sightseeing seeing ride to and from the beach from the ship. She likes shopping as well. Obviously we will be relaxing on Barefoot Beach in Labadee.
  9. Capt Johnny was not on the Bridge, but did get a pic with him on our May sailing.
  10. We went once. Too expensive, crowded and very loud.
  11. A wise man named @Matt once said..."ask nicely, all they can say is no". I recently took this advice while on the Harmony group cruise. As many of you know the Diamond Plus and Suite guests are invited on complimentary tours. As a Diamond member I have received a couple behind the scenes tours, but really wanted to do the Bridge Tour on Harmony. I visited the Loyalty Ambassador and explained that I was still 2 cruises away from D+, but was interested in the Bridge Tour if they had any cancellations. She explained that there was plenty of room for me to go since it fell on a port day. The tour is only about 20 minutes, but I was very excited about visiting the bridge and especially on the World's largest cruise ship. There was lots of interesting facts shared by the officers. Here are just a couple things. 1. There are over 1400 cameras installed around the ship. Obviously none in the cabins or restrooms. 2. At Harmony's top speed of 25 knots, she can come to a complete stop in 1.4 miles. The tour usually consist of 15-20 people, but there were only 6 in our party. They will not let you take video, but you are welcome to take as many still shots as you like. I going to attempt to attach a few pics taken from my phone. I think this wise man also stated that another acceptable practice is to offer a piece of negotiable paper with a President's pic. LoL
  12. Tip: If you accidentally forget to return a towel and are charged on the last night, do NOT go stand in the long guest services line. Call from the comfort of your cabin and in most cases they will remove the charge. On the Harmony group cruise @AnnetteJackson was kind enough to invite me up to the suite deck and I subsequently left my towel. A call to guest services with an explanation and the charge was removed within 5 minutes.
  13. This is why we skipped it on the Harmony group cruise.
  14. We have been to Nachi once and Mr. Sancho's 5 times. I recommend Sancho's. Taxi ride is $17 for up to 4 people one way. NEVER a problem getting a taxi either direction. During the Sept group cruise Nachi did bend the rules and had well over 100 guests.
  15. No longer a la carte. @JLMoran we were not at all fans of Wonderland. But like @whenismynextcruise said, food is very subjective. Some love it, but we will never go back for food. Wonderland bar on Harmony was excellent.
  16. I forgot to update my list Oct 13, 2018 Anthem Dec 28, 2018 Enchantment

  18. Hopefully Raj will be back on Harmony when you sail. He was an amazing concierge.
  19. Print SetSail, pack and wait. What ship and when do you sail?
  20. We have been 3-4 times and have never had an issue getting a taxi back. Look forward to visiting again on the group cruise. If you enjoy snorkeling, they have an excursion that leaves from their property by boat. Purchase in advance on shoreexcursioneers to save money. I think it's around $38 per person.
  21. We love Mr. Sancho's. $50 through the same site that SusanJean posted. Price includes loungers and all the food and booze you want. Not walking distance, but only $17 taxi ride for up to 4 people.

  23. I agree that most sales for purchasing cruises tend to be "smoke and mirrors" and often don't result in additional savings. I am a true believer in booking as early as possible and frequently doing a price comparison. Booking through "Cruise Planner" is specifically for excursions, drink/dining packages, spa treatments, etc. This is the sale I am interested in.
  24. REALLY hoping for a good cruise planner sale over the Labor Day weekend. Heard any rumors that there might be one? Does anyone recall if they had one last year?
