Fairlynew got a reaction from mom2mybugs in Havana ship excursions making me crazy
Hi, I am in the same "boat" as you! My first hope is that the ship actually stops in Havana. I booked the Classic cars tours because it looks like a good combination. It says it takes 5 hours, but only 2 or so are in the car. I also thought it was fairly reasonable at $214 for 3 people. I am hopeful that since it is limited to 3 adults (and so will only be our party), we can customize what we want to do and see. Sadly, my trip is after yours, so I won't be able to give you a report. I hope that you will report on what you decide to do and how you like it. We also looked at the full tour, but 8 hours seemed like a really long time. Good luck deciding.

Fairlynew got a reaction from Huffy in Deluxe Drink Package purchased on board the ship
Wine generally runs around $12 per glass (and up). We like a glass or two of wine with dinner and because my husband and I have differing tastes, we almost always buy it by the glass. 2 glasses at dinner, a pre-dinner cocktail and a beer by the pool adds up to close to $40. Add in a couple of bottles of water, a specialty coffee and fresh squeezed juice (and/or a mimosa or bloody mary with breakfast) and we reach the break even point pretty easily if the price is less than $50 and don't really feel drink fatigue.

I think your awesome live blog inspired others to book the same cruise!

Fairlynew got a reaction from tiny260 in Cruise planner
Interesting. I have found dining packages. Not sure we are going to book any because we will have access to Coastal Kitchen for the first time. We have done specialty dining before and liked it, but we are in the rare minority that also enjoyed the MDR. I guess we're just not that picky. Food that i don't have to prepare that is served to me has to be pretty bad to get a complaint from me.

Fairlynew got a reaction from Marmaduke in Changing reservations on BOGO dining
We had this package on navigator of the seas in September and had no issue choosing our restaurants once on board. Moreover we were able to change and dine on night 3 instead of 2 with no issue.
