I thought the same thing. Also interesting observation from last night is that even though it was formal night, 150 was only half full. They did not seem too busy in there at all. We ate a 6:30pm, which I would say falls into prime dinner time.

We had sewer gas gurgling and bubbling up in the master bath tub on HM this past December filling the master bedroom with sewer gas. I took a video and mentioned it to my contact at Michael Bayley’s office who called me post cruise.  She wanted me to send the video to her and she was not impressed by what she saw and heard.  It was being escalated.  

While getting drinks and catching up with @recogneyes, they announced that we are headed back to Nassau for a medical emergency. Will check in later. Now at Aqua80, try #2 🤞

Agree with both of you.  I actually love GOING to 150.  I think it's the most elegant of all the restaurants but the menu is just not my cup of tea.  Dan loves it b/c he's into the exotic meats (ugh) but not me.  Also agree with @MamaSharkabout the salts.  That was my FAVORITE part of 150 and now that's gone, so unless we have the UDP or SC or for some reason just have an abundance of specialty dining to fill up, 150 is second only to Wonderland in getting the boot.
I also find it very interesting that both Wonderland and 150 CP have been eliminated from Icon.  I expect there is a correlation...
 
 
Sorry to hear that you are having some motion issues.  Such a shame b/c last week the ocean was just like glass.  I never felt a SINGLE bump or sway the entire week.  Also a shame that you keep missing Aqua80's !!!

@Lovetocruise2002 the only thing I ever loved about 150 was the 6 (six)  fancy salts.  Even the breakaway bread never Wow’d me. It’s one of the first things I tell genie— I’m not to put 150 on our itinerary. Pass😄

There was a thread recently by @Smokey79 recently where booking Chef's Table and Hibachi ahead of time was discussed. This is a topic that has come up frequently in other forums as well. I have mentioned here, and in other places, that I have never booked Hibachi ahead of time when sailing star, and this sailing remains no different. We don't do Chef's Table ever so I cannot comment on that. Not our scene.
Anyway, we have always waited for the Genie to book us into Hibachi, even when we had 10 in the Villa last year on HM. We have always been able to secure a time in our usual dinner slot (around 6:30/7pm). This time was no different. I asked Andrew and Lisa if they wanted to do Hibachi together this time, better than being stuck at a table with strangers. Between our two families we have 7 people and Shane was able to secure a 7pm time for us together without any issues.

Still….great to “hear” from you.  I knew you were cruising more on Celebrity.
Thank you for the Pinn congrats.  Now that we finally made it, the door is slightly open to trying other lines.
It would be great to see you, Steph.  I hope it happens.

I am always here lol. I just read more than comment BUT I have loved La Bamba since childhood and I had to help her out lol.  I have been doing a lot more cruising on Celebrity than Royal lately. Last march I went on Harmony and I know it was spring break but it was just not the best. The food really has declined and I just really like Edge class and solstice class ships better. I hope you're doing well. I saw you made pinnacle that's awesome. Oh and one more thing I really love that the Casinos on Celebrity are fully non smoking that is a game changer for me lol.

Tomorrow the plan is to check out of here around 9:45am. Trying to leave some buffer time in case we need to sort anything else out with the charges.
Shane has already set up a WhatsApp chat with us. Every genie is different. Some don’t do it until the morning of the cruise, some do it way ahead of time, and Shane set it up today. 
I am so excited for tomorrow. I cannot even put it in words. Today, over dinner, I was telling the family that all day long, I was just thinking of lying out on that balcony. One more day…😌

@Lovetocruise2002I’m on this cruise too with DH, DS17 and DD12.  It’s been a while since I’ve been on RCBlog but I’m glad you are having a better start than us.  Our flight was cancelled after a few delays this morning.  Being spring break there was no availability on any airline to Miami or FLL, so we rented a car and driving about 15 hours to Miami.  This cruise we’ll only be in a JS and I’ll miss the suite deck around the pool.  Hoping we can get into CK for dinner a few nights. 

Dinner was at 150CP tonight. We are not huge fans of the this place, but D17 likes the Lobster Thermidor, so we did one night for her. Dinner itself was fine and so was the service, but I still don’t love this place. 
 

After dinner we were excited to see Aqua80. As I mentioned lately in other blogs, I have yet to see a full showing of this show. I told Shane that I am beginning to think that I am jinxed for Aqua80. We saw a whole 10mins of it before they shut it down.
The ship picked up quite a bit of motion and you could see a lot of water sloshing out even before the show started. They tried to work with the bridge to stabilize the ship but no luck. So again, no Aqua80 for us.
However, I did manage to  take a pic of the “traffic light” system that the divers use. I remember we were talking about it on someone’s blog recently and I posted that I watched an Aqua Theatre documentary about how the divers look for the lights to turn green before going into a dive. There are two sets of these, one at each top corner. 

 
That’s it for tonight. The ship is rocking and I have been up since 6:30am. Calling it a night. 😴

Ok, the highlight for me here is .... SHANE! 🥰 You are doubly blessed.  He's been on both our SC sailings. I only met him briefly but he's literally EVERYWHERE on the ship. Both sailings, i felt some days i saw him more than our own Genies. 😃 One day i hope to be lucky enough to enjoy his legendary Genie powers. I did hear he wanted to stay in NY/NJ, so perhaps 3rd time will be the charm for our Symphony cruise in May. One can only hope! ❤️

Really sad all this is happening in Haiti, but unfortunately, if you know the history of the island, it's more of the norm than anything else. First time we went to Labadee, I was amazed with how beautiful Haiti was and still is. Sailing in August there again and plan to enjoy the beach and tip the workers well.
