  1. We have bought items at Tiffany's on Oasis and Effy on Celebrity and never been felt we've been "scammed". Now if you buy an Invicta watch on the promanade you're on your own
  2. I think it was they closed the one side off on utopia, instead of having 2 halls to the theater area there is just 1, it throws me off for some reason
  3. you can sometimes find tours on youtube that show the machines, i try to find ones that are 3 months old or less. As far as layout I dislike Utopia for some reason.
  4. I was on Apex in december and it wasn't until about 2 weeks prior but I would make sure you log out of the app and log back in to make sure.
  5. Don't know what ship you are on but after many trips to Nassau I think you would have a better time enjoying the pools and water slides on the ship while half the passengers are off, however there is a hotel 5 minutes from the pier (British Colonial) that offers day passes and has a pool and beach that would be easy and not too expensive.
  6. Sounds like you should try Celebrity. Food is great, all casinos are non smoking, adults only solariums are beautiful.
  7. If you've never tried Oasis class its a must do...what great ships. I've been on Liberty and Mariner and there is really no comparison.
  8. no its still available today. We did it a couple months ago and paid $125pp its fun but one and done until they get some new themes. I'd rather eat at Giovani's for $50
  9. We are on March 28 and it has been available for a while now $75/guest today
  10. There are plenty of respiratory viruses going around right row. Flu A, RSV, our friend COVID. Anytime you hang around a few thousand of your closest friends you can get something. I had flu after a post holiday party in January (as did half the other guests) and did develop a painful cough. Hope you feel better
  11. we did expedited renewal last year and had the new books in hand in under 2 weeks. Hope you have the same experience.
  12. As a Canadian and Naturalized US citizen I would say you are unlikely to experience any animosity in the Maritime provinces, those are the nicest people in Canada. Ontario would be a different story but they aren't very nice to start with.
  13. I'll be honest...the first weekend we were on it I referred to it as "Trailer Park of the Seas"
  14. we've been on UT twice and are going again in March but I do agree with you. The design of the solarium seems to make everything echo. The other fact is if you are on the 3 night sailing, the ship is basically a floating 21st bday/bridal party.
  15. St Kitts is pretty underdeveloped. The Port area is a little chaotic we felt but once you got out it is a typical Caribbean island. We did a private boat charter from Reggae Beach with nevisyachtcharters.com which was one of our all time favorite excursions. If you just want to get out take a cab to Reggae beach, enjoy the scenery, and have lunch at Reggae each Bar
  16. I like Allure's solarium. Its also my favorite ship overall. The solarium on utopia is so loud. We were just on last weekend. Everything echos in there its sounds like everyone is yelling.
  17. Love Silhouette! Celebrity is the best if you like service, great food, and an elegant atmosphere. Highly recommend the retreat of you can swing it.
  18. I wouldn't skip Chops as suggested and I would request an outdoor table in Central Park. Great experience. I would do the same at Jamies. Sabor is cool on the boardwalk.
  19. We used Transfeero for Port to Florence, and Rome to Port when in italy. Very prompt, clean, I would recommend
  20. My daughter (20) is an introvert and loves cruising. Even a busy pool deck can be a great place to put in some head phones and read a book. On Wonder central park would be a great spot just to sit and relax during the day
  21. It's demand pricing, I normally pay around $60 each way. the benefit is watching a movie or napping instead of sitting in South Florida traffic
  22. I would Uber to the Brightline station near Port Everglades and take the train to MCO. Much more affordable and more convenient than flying or driving. We just did this last Saturday. i had the 10:20 am train booked and was off the ship and in the Brightline terminal in time for the 9:30 to Orlando
  23. we paid $129. It was fun and I'd recommend it as a one time experience until they get some new stories
  24. On the website you should be able to click on "order history" if you see it there I think you're ok if not I would say it didn't go thru
  25. Definitely the Passport..I am also OCD when it comes to the Passports (checking several times even though I know I have them). Xmas 2023 we were sailing on Celebrity Apex out of Fort Lauderdale. Our son lives in Daytona Beach and was meeting us at the hotel the night before embarkation. I sent him a text reminder in the afternoon, when he rolled up at 11PM the first thing I asked him was "did you remember your passport"...the look on his face. Back in the car for the 7 hour round trip. At least we discovered it the night before. Could have been a disaster.
