  1. I always just go straight to https://www.emed.com/ - the link to begin testing is on the home page and is working fine now.
  2. I did this last time, and we never seperate either, but they just tore it in half because they wanted to keep our individual records paperclipped apart from each other, so now I'll print on separate sheets.
  3. Not sure why it would cost you $600. I get them done for free at Walgreens. Why would you do the antigen as a backup and not just your primary test?
  4. If you're vaccinated you can do a rapid antigen test - results back in 15 minutes.
  5. They don't specify "proctored" but they say RT-LAMP tests are accepted. https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions/flying-canada-checklist/covid-19-testing-travellers-coming-into-canada
  6. Welcome to the forums! If you purchased a Royal Caribbean shore excursion, then yes. If you purchased a third-party excursion you'd have to check with their policies. Typically any reputable vendor would have this policy, but it's upon you to verify that.
  7. Yeah, but between the recent assassination and the recent natural disaster, is Royal not stopping by really much of a news story there? I'm thinking not so much.
  8. US residents do not have to test post-sailing. (That being said, I do once I get home).
  9. I guess my take on it is that I wouldn't expect there to be any news. It's not in a populated part of Haiti, so it's really not Haitian news. Royal is deciding not to go, so it's not being turned away by Haiti. It's not really very interesting, from a news standpoint.
  10. Crew are tested regularly, and probably most of the positive cases are identified that way. If a passenger feels ill, they are to call the medical unit on board and they will be scheduled to go down to the medical facility to test. If positive, they would only test people with whom that person has had close contact. "All" of the positive covid tests have equaled about 1% or less of the ships total population (crew and passengers). As usual, the cruise lines are being held to a standard that is not recognized on land.
  11. I just do a screen shot of the pass, paste it into a Word document, and print that page. Easy.
  12. One of the most popular with the Royal Caribbean Blog clan! https://costamayabeachresort.com/
  13. Well, you know, those Key members are sketchy!!! Oh, wait.... I was one of those Key members!!!
  14. You should be able to cancel within 48 hours of the sailing under the Cruise With Confidence program and receive an FCC. If a port is missed, port taxes and fees are refunded. They may inform of port changes prior to sailing, however sometimes they do not know until they dock (as happened last week). Beyond refunding port taxes and fees, they do not own passengers any reimbursement (although sometimes they do, but they aren't required to, per the contract we sign when we book the cruise). I'm sailing Odyssey on Jan 29. We're totally ok with any port changes. We'd like to go to Aruba and Curacao, but we're also happy just to be away from work and the Minnesota winter.
  15. It also depends on what category of cabin you have. Not every booking will be eligible for a Royal Up every time.
  16. Welcome to the forums, and thank you for the update!
  17. That's good to know. However, there are places (especially in Mexico - Yucatan Peninsula) where the trip to the embassy is over 6 hours away, so you'd still have to GET there before the paper copy would do any good.
  18. Yes, first reported here on December 20. Sorry that it's affecting you. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2021/12/20/royal-caribbean-will-stop-offering-onboard-covid-19-tests-international-passengers
  19. I've never understood what good a copy would do, other than I guess help the consulate issue whatever temporary paperwork you need to go home. You can't fly out of a country with a copy.
  20. Have a great cruise, Tony! Also, why don't more people use the term "poppycock"? It amuses me!
  21. Honestly, I've never lost a mask in the last 18 months. That being said, I always bring plenty so that I'm not wearing a dirty mask after a couple of days.
