  1. Specialty restaurants are rarely open on port days, so you don't need to worry about using your dining package for lunch those days. We hit the first place we come across to make reservations (whether that's a specialty restaurant or a kiosk set up in the Promenade). I've also been successful doing it at the MDR. Wherever is convenient for you. I'd only go to the MDR if they were serving something I really wanted to eat. I scope out the daily menus on the app ahead of time and plan around that.
  2. I believe? they only do that on the last night. I can't say that I've seen it in years, but I'm usually not there on the last night.
  3. Which one? (I assume Krazy Lobster).
  4. There are always openings once you get on the ship. Also, a lot of people don't show up for reservations, and they will open the theatre up to everyone 10-15 minutes prior to the show. You'll be fine.
  5. It never hurts to prepare a bit, as anything can happen, but I wouldn't worry about it too much.
  6. I don't think so. I believe they have to share the manifest with Customs, so they need that lead time.
  7. You'll be right above a lifeboat. This is a photo from the room next door (from cruisedeckplans.com)
  8. Obviously, I can only speak to my own experience, but we spent 25 minutes in the Port of Seattle when we sailed out of Quantum last May. Same with when we were on Ovation in 2019. I've sailed out of there 5 times and have never had a long boarding time.
  9. You'll probably want to ask this in the regular Discussions section, as very few people will look in this thread.
  10. Please keep in mind that the moderators are volunteers. We log in as often as possible and approve posts as quickly as we can. I, personally, can't easily remove anyone from moderation when I'm approving posts using my mobile device, however, if I'm on my laptop I try to get them done as quickly as possible.
  11. You would just buy it under one person's name.
  12. Prices vary from ship to ship and sailing to sailing (so the price may be different on Wonder the first week of April vs the 2nd week, etc). If you're already booked, just check your Cruise Planner for current prices.
  13. It'll be called "Dress Your Best" and is pretty much open to interpretation.
  14. Lanyards that guests wear? People just buy those themselves. I'm not aware of any meaning.
  15. Approximate times in all ports can be found on your booking invoice. It can always change last minute due to a variety of factors.
  16. Having just cruised on a non-Royal line, I definitely noticed a difference. Trying to skip dessert on Royal is kind of a battle. The waiters always seem so hurt. They try to encourage you. On the other line, they'd ask if you wanted dessert, and if you said no, they said "thank you" and moved along. I really liked this. Granted, it was one of the only things I liked better, but it was nice to not have the "battle". But, at least with Royal if you have too much food but would like to just take some back to your room for later, they'll allow it. The other line would not allow it at all. So basically you have to adopt @Pattycruise's wise advice - just do you and let the matter slide. But enjoy!
  17. But the new Giovanni's Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar is excellent. Wish it was on more ships!
  18. It could drop in price. It could also increase in price and not come back down. And it could completely sell out. Your best bet, if you really want to go, is to buy it now, and just watch for price drops. If the price drops, you can cancel and repurchase at the lower price.
  19. I can't find the FB page for this sailing (it's probably there, I'm just dumb), so I'll ask here - where are people hoteling (yes, that's an actual verb) pre-cruise?
  20. No, none of them come with included beverage packages. The only suites that come with that are Star Class suites on Quantum and Oasis-class ships.
  21. You will be able to text/call etc with Voom. There's no need to add AT&T Cruise package.
