Does anyone know if all of the RCL excursions in Nassau meet/leave from the cruise dock? Some of the non-RCL ones do not (which I totally understand), however I'll be traveling alone and I'm not comfortable walking around by myself there, or taking a taxi for any distance to get to a shore excursion. I'm kind of bummed because the only excursion there that I'm really interested in is a non-RCL excursion, and although it says "short walk, map and Smartphone navigation provided", I'm not sure if I'm going to be comfortable with that.

Neither of my cruises are in my cruise planner today, either. My Alaskan cruise is showing up in my husband's cruise planner, but neither of mine show up.

Nope, really simple name. But they couldn't add us from theirs, either, so it may just be too early. We made individual reservations at TBE same time and I'll call when it gets closer. I just HATE calling people on the phone, so I love arranging things online.

Maybe we are too far out - we don't sail until June. If we each separately make My Time reservations at the same time, I would assume they would be able to accomodate us together at June if we notify them ahead of time?

Has anyone gone into the Cruise Planner to make reservations, and add another guest to your reservation? It doesn’t recognize the reservation number of the other couple,and I’ve verified their info.

I just got one for my Feb Mariner sailing! I’d totally try it if I wasn’t traveling solo.

Well, crap. I wonder what happened to it. It was $100. **** update - I finally found where it says that it will be applied either 3 months prior to cruising, or 2 weeks prior to cruising. Kind of vague, but since my sailing isn't until June, this makes sense. From now on, I think I'll wait to redeem them, so I don't give myself a panic attack.

It looks like they are running these deals through Cyber Monday. The website was working perfectly after 9pm (yeah, I know, it's late, but I'm a night owl, so I rarely experience any problems with the site - I'm typically baffled when people say the website sucks.)

So, just to clarify - I've chosen "My Time Dining" - and I see on the cruise planner where I can make reservations ahead of time - but as just one person, I could just show up, request do dine alone, and they would seat me at the first available table? Am I understanding that correctly?

Can anyone tell me how long it takes from the time you submit points for redemption until it shows up in your Cruise Planner? I submitted it on Nov 12, and nothing has shown up yet. Thanks.

Mariner of the Seas, Feb 4, 2019 (first warm-weather cruise EVER ... going solo - just need a break!) Ovation of the Seas June 21, 2019 (25th wedding anniversary, and hubby's 50th birthday!)

No, I actually meant June 21st. This is the result of sleeping less than 4 hours several days in a row. I think I need a cruise. :)

I'll just put both of these questions into one post. I haven't cruised on RC since 2004, so I've forgotten a bit, and things may have changed. First question: Do the pools/hot tubs have hours that they are open/closed? I never see people in them at night on vlogs, but that's my favorite time to be in them. Secondly, I assume the casinos are areas where people can smoke. I'll be on the Mariner in February and the Ovation in June. It's all about air handling - I can walk through a decent casino in Las Vegas where people are smoking and barely notice. On the other hand, in a cheap casino, or casino on a reservation, just passing through makes my hair/clothes smell so bad that I need to shower, wash my hair twice, and launder anything I'm wearing immediately. Does anyone know how bad they are on the more modern ships? Thanks in advance, you guys are fantastic!

The 4-day deluxe package on Mariner for my Feb sailing is $52 after 20% discount. They must charge more the shorter the cruise. The price for my June Alaskan cruise is $50.

We'll be on the Ovation for the June 19th sailing! It will be our 3rd Alaskan cruise, and we can't wait.

I watched a video tour of the Mariner last night and it showed a few in the library.

It always seems that people accept a man sitting at (a bar, a restaurant) by himself, but women get judged a bit harsher (especially at bars - at restaurants we're just lonely). At least this has been my observation over the years. I'm still gonna do it, though, lol.

Does that work for a table for one as well? I'll be cruising solo. *** disregard - I found the answer already ***
