Last night was a wash. After dinner I went back to the room and took a nap until 2am...oops. I woke up and got ready for bed and went to sleep. My A/C has been freezing me out too. Usually I keep it way on the cooler side but this time it has to be just over into the warmer side for me not to be shivering!

I will get to it at some point. Tried it when it was all paid items and it was pretty good. Will have to see if the quality has declined since it went complimentary.

The potato was served to me like this...almost feel like I need to censor it.

That's what mine is this go around. I cruise much differently solo than I do with my mother..I also am a creature of habit and working a little so the days are rinse and repeat.

My interior room feels smaller on this ship. And you sure miss these doors when you don't have them.

I'm at a two-top tonight and the neighboring tables are no shows, so it may be a much tamer cruise socially this time around.

I think she was being petty because handcuffs and I became friends and would end up hanging out. Who knows..she would come and invite herself to sit with me in the Crown Lounge for the first half of the cruise but at some point she stopped. Maybe I offended her by asking if she was going to order the fish every night? Or maybe she found this blog After all this is my lanyard...

Yup..always screen shot that. I make it my lock screen on my phone..helps if I end up misplacing the phone during the cruise (which actually did happen when I had it as the lock screen!) It held up getting into the terminal today since they always look at the SeaPass before they allow you inside. I skipped a lot of folks who couldn't get theirs pulled up. Once you get to the folks with the tablets at check-in they can use room numbers to look up people..but getting in it's a fail.

Apparently it's down. Everyone is having issues boarding Indy since they can't pull up their SetSail. I printed mine The app is working for me on the ship's wifi. I didn't try it before, though.

Not much to really cover from the rest of the cruise. Chatty Alaska moved tables and tried to avoid me every time I saw her. So of course I went up and talked to her every single time Turns out handcuffs was my favorite person on the cruise . She's a casino degenerate and was at over 9000 points for this cruise. Got up early for my drive..was off the ship and ready to go. Now I'm sitting in Playmakers on Independence waiting on service. Managed to miss all the usual traffic I see in South Florida and it was a smooth, easy drive.

I did make it in there but I didn't buy anything this time. Their bakery always has interesting stuff. I didn't even realize they still made Clorets.

Welcome to Cozumel part 2. Sent my wash and dry laundry off this morning so I will get it back all folded for packing into my luggage. Last night was just shenanigans with my handcuffs BFF...watched karaoke and then went to the Schooner Bar, they finally opened up the casino at 10:30pm so we went there..then back to karaoke and then to the nightclub and then back to the casino. Good thing this is a small ship and not as much running back and forth as it sounds. I still haven't decided if I'm going to bother to get off the ship. I feel like I should take advantage of bring docked downtown but I also like air conditioning and staying out of the sun.

Include me, too! This time I will be solo so I won't feel like I'm ditching someone to meet up.

I agree..the Beach Club bar is sloooow. We walked to the bar hoping for faster service but nope...still a wait despite there only being a few customers.

No make your own anything at Pearl Cafe. There's still a Park Cafe available that does the salads. Pearl Cafe is more akin to Cafe Promenade with pre-made sandwiches. Though they are much, much better quality. They have packaged grab and go options and they have some on display where they heat them up for you. They also have pasta salads, pre-made salads, veggies and dip and other options for grab & go.

They have had it available both sailings I've been booked on.

Overheard in the Crown Lounge tonight: "If I die, I want to die on a cruise ship. Throw me in the furnace and get another mile out of the ship." Not sure that's how it works, sir.

It's Italian night in the MDR..I'm skipping because I wasn't paying attention to port time being an hour earlier and I didn't shower and get ready in time. Tomorrow was supposed to be Costa Maya but the captain came on and said the meteorologist says it's going to be too windy and unsafe to dock tomorrow so we are going back to Cozumel for another stop. This time we are going to dock at Punta Langosta. It's been a long time since I've docked in that part of Cozumel. It's close to MEGA though so I may walk the couple blocks there and grocery shop for unique Mexican goodies.

And shore to ship service brought us back. The cruise ships have to anchor about 5 miles out and it's a 15 minute tender ride.

The tour was narrated and the tour guide was pretty entertaining. He even pointed out Belizean locals getting lunch at a roadside stand and when someone asked if we could stop he had the bus driver pull over. Only a few people on the bus were takers..I was not one of them. It was about a 2 hour tour and we got back to the tender dock which has the typical port shopping. I sampled the local beer and some conch fritters. This is healthy, right?
