  1. Cafe Promenade does have the chai teas and hot chocolate and they do frappes as well. They don't typically carry matcha or refresher drinks, though, while the Starbucks kiosk that isn't included does. The coffee card is shareable so if you have multiple kids you could always split the Starbucks budget between a shared coffee card and allow them to visit the Starbucks kiosk for a few drinks.
  2. My anecdote comes from playing 3 Card Poker. I stash chips in my pocket and don't present them when coloring up to leave the table so if they're entering in how much I'm leaving the table with it always looks like I lost more than I actually did
  3. I added everyone in this thread (because I can!), but in the future yes, please use the master list linked above by @OCSC Mike!
  4. My hack for the phone by the bed is to use a portable charger for this. I then can charge the portable charger during the day in an outlet while I am not in the room so it is ready to go again at night.
  5. The escalator goes from Deck 5 - Promenade down to the casino. The opposite side of the casino entrance is where the exit to another escalator down to the gangway is. There is no access to the escalator from the stateroom corridors.
  6. After that first $5 spin, you would have 1 point. Every $5 you play will earn you 1 point. If you are betting $5 a spin, then every spin you earn a point regardless of whether you won something or not for that spin. If you play through that $1K stake you are bringing playing slots you are guaranteed at least 250 points for that amount of money. Earning more will depend on your luck in winning money and also playing those winnings.
  7. The amount of your bid is doubled and that's what you pay -- essentially only have to pay the bid amount for the first 2 passengers.
  8. If you go to most of the typical stock info outlets it will show you what the current dividend yield is.
  9. I have this as well..but it doesn't really clarify if this includes a free cruise as well
  10. If only I had this problem
  11. On Icon they actually had it on tap with a pull handle and everything. Can't recall if Utopia had it that way, too.
  12. I second the advice given to start with a short cruise. If you want a longer vacation, couple a 4-night cruise with a land vacation at the embarkation port. For example if you go on Wonder of the Seas out of Miami, you can stay and explore Miami to make up the rest of a weeklong vacation. Or alternatively, you can consider doing Utopia out of Port Canaveral and coupling a few days at Orlando theme parks with a 4-night on Utopia of the Seas. This keeps the time spent out at sea to a minimum. The 4-night itineraries will visit CocoCay (Royal Caribbean's private island) and Nassau, Bahamas. You're never that far from land on these sailings. Also the Oasis class ships are huge and when you are in the middle of the ship you can't even see the outside in most places. Plus these ships have a lot of options with respect to dining and entertainment. If things go well you can plan longer cruises in the future that go to more varied destinations such as Europe or Alaska or even more Caribbean.
  13. It's been over 10 years since I did it, but from the itinerary it appears 7/1 is your official check-in day and they will have a room for you at the Marriott that night. It is entirely up to you whether you arrive that day or come in before. That first day they will have an orientation to brief you on how everything works and tell you how you can sign up for excursions for your land tour. This may be done as your traveling group arrives or they might have ask you to show up at a specific time to address it with the larger group. They will explain when you should meet in the morning and what to do with your luggage. You will be on your own for meals.
  14. Explorer of the Seas had a charter that ended recently, so it may just be a holdover from that particular sailing. You may want to try to search some of the Facebook groups for the current sailing and ask them what their experience is. The current sailing left March 9 and comes back March 20.
  15. I'm thinking make a drink with cranberry and ginger ale and it could be delicious.
  16. I agree with this sentiment. I liked the extra space the window seat gave. Plus it was great to look out and spy on the going ons of Central Park
  17. You will only get one login to share but it will allow 2 devices on at once. You can use the login on as many devices as you like, just only 2 can be using the internet at once.
  18. I think it helps that the Icon elevators are larger and can hold more people. We noticed they were a lot slower on Utopia and a lot more likely to show up completely full.
  19. Meeeeee! There are quite a few of us that are. @CHart is working on locking it down.
  20. I still print mine as well and usually use that to check in so I don't have to deal with digging out my phone after I threw it in my bag for the security scanner. I also save the SetSail pass as my lock screen on my phone which has come in handy when I either forget my room number or lose my phone on the ship.
  21. Ask Carlos too..he can probably arrange a meeting with the loyalty ambassador for you on your schedule
  22. You will have Prime on your SeaPass card through March 31, 2026. Points you earn starting April 1, 2025 will count towards your next year (April 1, 2026-March 31, 2027).
  23. I'm not sure the annual policies have this coverage. I know that Nationwide used to sell a policy that had the coverage as I had looked into it, but Florida residents weren't eligible.
  24. Yes. Each person that has a plan purchased in their name will create a login and PIN which can be shared with anyone. If a 4-device package is purchased then it will allow 4 devices to be using that login at the same time. Once a 5th device tries to sign in, it will bump off one of the other 4 devices.
