I just saved $100 on our Thrill Park Cabana. It went down to $299 for our January cruise. I'm excited. We have a family of 5. We can't go to a land water park for $60 per person plus we get the cabana and attendant service. Now our beach bed for Labadee in June 2020 needs to drop.

Keep watching for a sale on the Thrill Park Cabanas, we got one for $399 and there are 5 of us so it was worth it. With two ships in port the costs for cabanas will be up. We like the cabanas for the soft place to rest and the extra attention from the attendants.

We went from the Allure to the Empress in the same week and I really enjoyed the Empress. We just had to have our minds set that we were going to get bigger and over the top on one and a classic cruise on the other. What I missed most on the Empress was the shopping and restaurants but liked the Windjammer much better on the Empress. Staff on smaller ships seem to be really personable and love their ship and jobs.

The upgrades are now much more expensive than they used to be. Casino Royale said it was a recent change.

I would go and take whatever they offer you and then plan the next cruise. My theory is something is better than nothing.

We open our hard sided luggage and slide it under the beds and use it for our dirty clothes. It has fit on all ships so far.

We do this every cruise. Go to guest services and get an extra key for each room. The person who switched will then have two cards, one for their room and one that is there sea pass for exiting and returning to the ship as well as any packages they purchased.

On Empress they brought all the stuff and held it in a lounge. It wasn't as nice as in the restaurant.

The cruise planner isn't offering any good prices for our cruises. So sad. I guess I'm not buying it for October.

We did a cabana in December for our group of 7 and loved it. It gave us a base and shade plus floating mats. This time around we booked a bungalow because of the cost. I like a quick nap and some shade. I would never pay the price if it was just hubby and I. Keep watching your cruise planner as well as calling you might get one. And they come with cold water and an attendant which is so nice.

I just found a picture of it and it was an orange colored sauce. There is a butter type sauce plus the orange one.

Buy the refreshment package and enjoy bottled water, soda, sports drinks and specialty coffees. If the ship has freestyle machines vitamin water will also be available.

OP was asking about the Allure and that is why I responded the way I did. It was not good on the Allure. Yours looks much better but not on the Allure.

Don't go on lobster night, go to main dining room that night. We made this mistake on the Allure in May. The lobster was not good there.

I was finally able to get the balloon. I couldn't book it because I booked the cabana in my name so I had to switch one to my daughter's name.

They don't automatically cancel because some people actually go to 2 places to eat, one early and one late. I couldn't but some do.

This is per cabin so if you have two cabins you can double it. Also allowed to bring two bottles of wine per stateroom.

We booked through Royal for Cozumel and it was cheap and the kids loved it. It was from Dolphin Discovery at Chankanaab. We didn't have a lot of time to do anything but the dolphins and a quick lunch and dip in the pool but for what we paid for a family of 5 we were super happy.
