  1. If there is an adult with them and they have all the required documents, I don't see why they would not be able to get things rolling. Pre-COVID, I was able to check-in separately from someone I was sharing the stateroom with. I don't see anything in their post-covid protocols that has changed that.
  2. Digging up this old thread... I was wondering why "CHOICE" was next to "DIAMOND" on my SetSail Pass. The only time I was at the casino was when I used my $6.00 free play. Where do I go from here... HIGH ROLLER?
  3. I was just at Office Depot today, looking for the DocuSleeve for my friends. The ones they had there were not rigid enough. This one I have is called the DocuSleeve from Trainers Warehouse. https://trainerswarehouse.com/awards-recognition/docu-sleeves-8-5-x-11-clear-plastic-document-protector/ Amazon only sells them in bulk https://www.amazon.com/Set-25-DocU-Pockets-Omni-Stick-backings/dp/B005OR9HOO/ref=sr_1_36?crid=3S6N4BCS4AVZO&dchild=1&keywords=trainers+warehouse+document+holder&qid=1635359387&sprefix=trainers+warehouse+doc%2Caps%2C119&sr=8-36
  4. Here's how I presented my documents at PortMiami at check-in for Freedom. I placed all the required documents in a rigid document pocket. It literally took me seconds to go through every screening station. There were 3-4 of them
  5. Looks like for the Brilliance, the app is not very brilliant
  6. I'm waiting for online check-in to become available for my Brilliance sailing on December 20, 2021. I've noticed that the icons/buttons for "Health", "Check-in", and "Account" are missing. I can see them for the Independence though, on which I'm sailing in 2022. Anybody else seeing this?
  7. I'm coaching a group of 17 guests for a pre-Christmas cruise
  8. The only thing I can think of is "Florida Resident"
  9. With all the screening being done at check in, what is the convenient way to do it for a group or family? Would it be better being done as a group or individually? The screener has to check four documents - SetSail Pass, Covid test results, Passport, and Vaccination Card. I think it would be better if every person in the party had their own documents in hand rather than just one person holding them all. The exception would be for small kids, of course. I think even a grade-school kid can handle presenting their documents to the screener, with some briefing at home. What do you think?
  10. Did you actually go into the Cruise Planner to see the offers? I'm seeing Labadee on the main page of the Cruise Planner, but when I go into the subpages, I see Nassau EDIT: Ooops... they updated the pages already. Labadee is totally gone
  11. I don't think capacity was the issue. The usher just failed to use common sense. It was the last night of the cruise, people (especially those with children) were busy packing. Not many people go to shows on the last night... and I was by myself. How much space can I take? The only reason I was there was because I missed the earlier showing coming late from Izumi.
  12. Speaking of letting the guests know what is going on, I walked out of the Ice Show on the last night of the cruise on the Freedom. I always go to shows early to get good seats. I was seated at the front part of Studio B, ordered a drink from the waiter, and was waiting for the show to start. After about 15 minutes, an usher approached me and told me I had to move because the section was reserved for families with kids. This was five minutes before the show started, no one was in that section. The chances of the section being filled on the last night of the cruise was slim. Even after I had asked to stay, the usher insisted I move. I just walked out and told him, "What a way to ruin my last night on this cruise". There was no signage, no barrier, no announcement, no usher to let me know the section was reserved. If I had just sat down, I wouldn't have minded being asked to move. But I was already seated for 15 minutes and served my drink... and the section was literally empty! Ai ai ai
  13. If I wanted to park in a parking garage at Port Everglades, how can I get to Terminal 18 (or whichever terminal the Odyssey will be sailing from)? I prefer not to do surface parking because my stuff for the next two cruises will be left in my van. The Florida sun can turn it into a furnace.
  14. I'm willing to comply with whatever guidelines the ships implement to comply with CDC. I've already been on two cruises these past two months. I have not had any problems at all. I've always said "I'll even wear a Hazmat suit just to be able to cruise."
  15. Try to book appointments with Walgreens and/or CVS. Choose the Rapid Test option when booking.
  16. OPTICS! It is Royal's way of saying, "Here CDC, we care about vaccines"
  17. So I'm guessing that vaccinated adults need the bands so they can go into "Vaccinated Only" venues and events, am I right?
  18. From what I know, if there is someone unvaccinated in a group/party, the entire party is classified as unvaccinated.
  19. Concerts and festivals using these satin ribbon wristbands are using the "environment-friendly" card.
  20. You know how things come in waves. The wave in 2014 got so big, every major retailer rode on it. Even the British royals were shown wearing the rubber band bracelets.
  21. It was the craze in 2014. Rubber bands made into bracelets. I had my 15 minutes of fame inventing the technique making "superhero figures" with the bands. I'm PG of the PG's Loomacy (now PG's Projects) channel on YouTube. Made good money too. This was my best project Nowadays, this YouTube Creator "has been" is just using the left over bands to secure his Royal wrist band.
