  1. April 2nd, 2027 on utopia of the seas
  2. Eleven years ago, when I was just 17, I went on my very first Royal Caribbean cruise. It was a memorable journey I shared with my mother, my aunt, and a family friend who is now set to become my aunt by marriage. The experience was delightful, filled with excitement and anticipation. Even though I was a minor in the United States at that time, I took on the responsibility of completing the online check-in process for both my mother and me. This was somewhat unconventional, as Royal Caribbean classifies individuals who are 13 or older as “adults,” but I was determined to ensure everything went smoothly for our trip. All four of us were listed under the same reservation, and we shared a cozy stateroom, which made the entire experience feel even more special. Being together in that space created the perfect setting for countless memories and shared adventures on the high seas. As we navigated the ship and explored various ports of call, I felt a mix of freedom and joy that comes from such unique family bonding moments.
  3. what I wanted to know would be is there away that I can make an appointment at next cruise on the royal app?
  4. Can you explain the process of accomplishing that task within the app? It would be helpful to have detailed steps and any specific features or tools I should utilize to ensure I can complete it effectively.
  5. My mom and I are excited to be onboard the Utopia from May 16th to May 19th, and we’re eager to schedule our next cruise while we’re at sea. We’d love to know whether we can simply drop by the NextCruise office as walk-in guests without needing an appointment, or if it’s necessary to arrange an appointment in advance. If walk-ins are permitted, can someone please confirm that for us? Additionally, if appointments are required, could you guide us on how to set one up? Can it be done once we’re on board, or do we have the option to secure an appointment via the Royal Caribbean app or through the cruise planner before we embark on our trip? Any detailed information would be greatly appreciated!
  6. You can contact Royal or your travel agent to add them to your reservation. They can stay in their own room, and even have adjoining rooms if that’s your preference.
  7. You can definitely use Starbucks gift cards at the Starbucks kiosks located on ships, allowing you to enjoy your favorite beverages even while at sea. Additionally, while you're onboard, you can earn Starbucks Stars, which accumulate with every purchase you make. However, it's important to note that although you can earn Stars during your time on the ship, you won't have the option to redeem them at the onboard Starbucks kiosks. So, while you can benefit from earning Stars, you’ll need to wait until you're back on land to enjoy any rewards you've accumulated.
  8. Same thing with the oasis class where you will also see the ocean from the boardwalk. If they are worried about getting seasick tell them that there is natural remedies that don't require medication as well as over the counter medication & prescription only medication that they can get to prevent motion sickness & seasickness Also no matter what cruise ship you book they all have interior, ocean view, balconies & suites if you book oceanview rooms then your cabin will be roomed on deck 3 & can seem the ocean from the large porthole in the cabin or an oceanview balcony or any of the available suites you will be able to see the ocean & smell the Seabreeze air from your cabin
  9. Please remove March 28, 2026, as I am no longer cruising on Utopia that weekend.
  10. I’m a woman and I usually wear sizes XXL and sometimes 2XL or 3XL in women's clothing. I have cruised with Royal Caribbean 11 times, and on 6 of those occasions, the “one size fits all” robe didn't fit me properly. The robe wouldn't close around my stomach, especially when I weighed about 250 lbs on my first cruise. By the last time I tried it, I was around 285 lbs, and it still wouldn’t close. Therefore, I don’t think that the “one size fits all” robe would fit a man who wears a 2XL or 3XL.
  11. In November, when I decided to buy the UDP and the refreshment package, I encountered some difficulties with purchasing them through the app and the website. Frustrated but determined, I reached out to customer service for assistance. During the call, the representative was exceptionally helpful, guiding me through the process. Thanks to their support, I successfully purchased both the UDP and refreshment package over the phone.
  12. The app functions seamlessly without the need for a separate Wi-Fi or internet package. However, it's crucial to inform your cellular provider about your cruise travel plans beforehand. You can either notify them directly or add an international travel pass to your mobile account for better coverage during your trip. Once onboard the cruise ship, remember to switch your phone to airplane mode and connect to the ship's Wi-Fi. If you neglect to take these steps, your cellular provider may impose hefty charges for using your phone while not connected to the ship's guest Wi-Fi. I learned this lesson the hard way during a cruise with my mom. We decided not to purchase the ship's Wi-Fi since we didn’t plan on using our iPhones frequently, apart from my mom receiving work calls. Although she didn’t answer any of those calls and let them go straight to voicemail, we were still shocked to find a $50 charge from T-Mobile on our bill shortly after returning home. It wasn’t until one or two weeks post-cruise that we discovered this unexpected expense. Upon reviewing the bill, we were frustrated to see the additional $50 charge and immediately contacted T-Mobile to dispute it. We explained that we were unaware of the need to activate airplane mode, connect to the ship's Wi-Fi, and notify T-Mobile of our travels. After that experience, we decided to switch providers to Verizon, which offered better reliability in our area, even if it cost a bit more. We also added the travel pass to our account for both phones, ensuring we were better prepared for future cruises. We learned to connect to the ship's Wi-Fi and engage airplane mode to avoid exorbitant charges, especially when using the Royal Caribbean app that can work without an internet connection. Years later, we made another switch, this time to Spectrum Mobile. This choice was prompted by their impressive service that rivaled Verizon's but at a significantly lower price—up to 60% cheaper. Moreover, as existing Spectrum Internet customers, transitioning to Spectrum Mobile was a convenient option that provided us with great service at an affordable rate. Hope that helps answer your question & helps you decide if you should purchase the internet/wifi package!!!
  13. I tried that but it didn't work for me or my mother who I'm cruising with.
  14. I had the same issue when I wanted to purchase the udp & refreshment package via the app & website but I was able to purchase them via phone call with customer service. Still unable to remove them from cart after purchase & its been almost 3 months.
