Thanks for the input.  I certainly don't want to treat them rudely, and actually thought that might help save them some time and energy too.   No offense meant.

I've been charged, occasionally, but it's sort of random.  Same thing on other cruise lines too, sometimes they charge, sometimes they don't.
If they don't charge me, I just add it to the cash tip I give them at the end of the cruise.  So in my case, either the cruise line gets the cash, or the wait staff does.
 

I'm sorry for the confusion, you're correct - there's only one option for the Soda & Voom package.  I was thinking of the multiple device Voom packages without the beverage.  That's what I get for trying to respond to messages from my phone without looking at all the details. ?
Now that I'm on my computer, I have good news...the one you're seeing is the Surf + Stream option - the better one.  On the description, note how it mentions high speed and streaming:

And then if you go into the Additional Terms & Conditions link for all the fine print, it makes it more clear, referring to the VOOM Surf and Stream.

I'll be able to check it out on Allure in early April, 2019.  Hoping by then they have the push notifications figured out.

It doesn't have push notifications yet so it might not work if you need the other person to see or respond to messages quickly.

I'll be on the same itinerary on Allure sailing March 31st (but with older children), so I've been on the hunt for similar excursions.  All your plans sound great and I don't see any major flaws there.  Just be cautious walking around in Nassau if you venture out from the port area.  We're booking a private cultural/historical excursion with a tour guide who I hope will keep us safe.  Good pick for the monkeys/sloths in Roatan - we're doing the same thing but just with a different tour company that we're looking at for a few other activities.  I'm the most excited about that excursion!

My son is hearing impaired and uses a pair of cochlear implants to hear.  The external parts have to be charged and electronically dried over night so I requested an extension cord with multiple outlets through the special needs link, just to make sure we don't run out of power options in the cabin.  Incidentally, I'm a diabetic and requested a sharps container for the cabin.  They confirmed back that both would be in our cabin prior to boarding.

We had the same thing.  Our first cruise was a 7 night cruise in 1999, which is displayed as 1 point in the “past cruises” section of the website, but the points were translated to 15 for both my husband and I (before the cruise we just took).

When the old system of 1 point per cruise (up to 8 nights) changed to 1 point per night every cruise was credited with 7 points (regardless of the actual number of nights) and 1 extra point was added to the total to account for some 8 night cruises.
We had been on three cruises - 3 old points became 22 new points.
