  1. I absolutely love the cruisemapper app and website. I can literally throw away a whole day just looking at ships. . . today it is ice breakers. My son would like to cruise on one. I don't doubt he will someday find a way!
  2. Good for snow days and cure for the "flu".
  3. We did this in Seward. We boarded at 11:30 after arriving by train, ate lunch in Chops, then left the ship to head to the the marine museum/aquarium via the free shuttle. Then took the free shuttle back to port, boarded at 3:30/4 ish. Muster was around 5 or so. We didn't shove off until around 6:30 or 7pm. That's doable in Seward, as everything in fairly close, especially with the free shuttle that loops the town, but I wouldn't try it in Miami. That's just me, though. Enjoy your cruise!!!!
  4. EXACTLY! Up until this past weekend, more people in Missouri had died from the flu THIS FLU SEASON, than had died in the ENTIRE Coronavirus outbreak.
  5. What did you think of it? Have you tried the beach front or hilltop cabanas?
  6. Looking forward to our first Oasis sailing next month. Curious as to what suites guests have seen for booking prices with concierge for cabanas at Barefoot Beach.
  7. Oh Man! I substitute teach and am judging a middle school science fair today. I take massive amounts of vitamin C from Nov through April every year. Don't want those little buggers buggering up my vacays!
  8. No, but not good, regardless. Think of Nassau cruise port: as if someone asked to borrow the keys to the lock at the gate(s)/gate house, "ya, know, just to check it out".
  9. Give your kiddo a hug and hope they feel better soon. Also, starting taking your Airborne Vitamin C NOW!
  10. Gheeze, I would hope that their ports are not open and forwarding only to their operations. Your questions give one pause.
  11. Only three cruises with DCL, but never had a fubar on any of the rotational dining. Enjoyed them all. Will try MDR foe first this Dec 2020 on Adventure. #TEAMCK for Oasis next month.
  12. Looking at the Cruise Planner for the thermal suite for Adventure of the Seas, I've either missed the booking window or there is no thermal suite. Does it have a thermal suite?
  13. Congrats on your 20th! What a fun and romantic way to celebrate!
  14. Oasis of the Seas March 22, 2020 Western Caribbean Miami Adventure of the Seas December 28, 2020 Western Caribbean Galveston Serenade of the Seas July 18,2021 Close Jaw Alaska Vancouver
  15. GroundLink services both ports? That would be sweet!
  16. Hello all. 1) We are needing car service/limo suggestions for FLL to Terminal A in Miami and return trip. We will have a 4 day car rental prior to embarkation in Fort Lauderdale (fishing the canals and Okeechobee), but need service from FLL to cruise port and back. 2) Also, looking at Sam's Limo from HOU to Harbor House in Galveston. Anyone have any experience with them? Any other recommendations for Galveston?
  17. How much time does the cruise line give to already booked passengers that they've been bumped by a charter? Could they give less than 90 days?
  18. Are you using a VPN? If so, try disabling that just to test, then turn it back on. I use three different VPNs, browsers are more picky with one of them than the other. Does not give me peace. Clearing cookies and all that might help, too. Have you tried another device within your wifi? Have you tried this outside of your wifi?
