Opinion Is 13 nights on Mariner excessive?
HeWhoWaits replied to Neesa's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
There is a fallacy in your question. 13 nights is never too much, regardless of the ship. -
You mean the "private" tables for two might no longer put you even closer to other couples than sharing a large table with them does?

Call It: First Cruise Sails.......????

Sunday, July 4 Cruising Independence Day -
Burgers are either very juicy or very greasy depending on one's perspective. As @twangsternoted, Carl's Jr. is a Western US version of the more familiar to me Hardee's. Hardee's breakfast is, to me, a significant improvement vs. what is available at chains like McDonald's and Burger King.

As you are doing now. There is no way to have a gathering WITHOUT there being a group. One person is neither a gathering nor a group. Two or more together in the same place is always a group and becomes a gathering if there is a specific reason for them to be together. CDC may not have used the word "group" but they did create a guidance that impacts what may be done by groups (or "group gatherings" if you will, but that phrase is needlessly redundant).

Being the hot chick had its advantages?

Guess that depends on your perspective. As a Florida resident, you probably don't think of that period as hot or humid. As someone who previously lived just south of Lake Michigan - it qualifies.

So, in other words, the same as any time of year.

Question regarding legal drinking age on RCL shore excursions
HeWhoWaits replied to Ian T's topic in Shore Excursions
Which is why we planned a family cruise to depart a few days AFTER our son turned 21 rather than the week that included both his birthday and our anniversary (he was born on our 4th anniversary). -
Question regarding on board spending account
HeWhoWaits replied to Ian T's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Putting down cash at Guest Services is probably your easiest path. Another option is to inform them that you intend to pay a portion of their onboard spending and then pay the amount they use or your intended maximum at Guest Services a couple days prior to the end of the cruise (DO NOT wait until the last night as you'll waste time in line that can be better used enjoying the final night of the cruise). -
If they don't take that one, how about Live Blog of the Seas?

And who would destroy good crab cakes by using tartar sauce?

The cruise has the advantage of Adventure Ocean - you won't be responsible for 100% of their entertainment, so you'll have a chance to relax (whether that's reading on your balcony, sleeping, strolling around the ship, or taking full advantage of your drink package).

Would this make Alaskan cruises legal?
HeWhoWaits replied to RCIfan1912's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
We took an Alaska cruise that departed from and returned to Seattle. Victoria, BC was one of the ports of call. The 7 night round trip cruises could still operate out of Seattle with a "touch and go" stop in Victoria, but the northbound or southbound trips would have to be made longer to add such a stop (those are the ones that depart from or return to Vancouver). -
One factor may be that it's much easier to escort a non-compliant guest off of Disney property than it is to remove a non-compliant passenger from a ship at sea.

I wondered about that distant sound of wailing and gnashing of teeth this morning.
