  1. Sorry, I don’t really hate you ?. Been fighting my weight my whole life.
  2. She was a penguin for a couple of years and also very close personal friends with several Dr Seuss characters.
  3. I love being able to treat my adult offspring. Seeing them happy is my greatest joy. Maybe it’s not right but it’s how I feel. And they are happy to make me happy ?
  4. My daughter’s roommate was a Dreamworks character on a ship in the Asian market. Daughter performed in Gaylord Palms Orlando & was supposed to go on the ship but has a tendency to get seasick so couldn’t.
  5. Not to hijack the thread but on the subject of tips, what about the concierge for Sky Class? I truly have no idea and don’t want to underestimate.
  6. I am currently working on losing my Covid-19. Sucks but I am determined to look decent on our cruise. Still don’t think I necessarily want to dress up for formal night. Khakis & polo or button down shirts for the guys. Light summer dresses for me & my daughter. I’ve said it before - I will keep my elbows off the table, chew with my mouth closed, put my napkin in my lap. At this point not sure we need to do more.
  7. How do I sign up??? I am such a WAAAYTOOO groupie!!!
  8. Yup and my husband is a “flasher”!! God he loves that gold card.?
  9. Yes, that is what I saw. I expect they won’t want the small plate or a dessert so the prie fixe menu doesn’t make sense. I expect them to order an assortment of large plates. I don’t see prices on the menu you posted but I think they range from $13-17 each so for around the same price, they can get 6-8 rolls to share. Makes more sense to me.
  10. And weren’t the 2 passengers on Celebrity unvaccinated teenagers?
  11. Ok yes I am officially a Suite Snob. I blame my husband and several bad influence posters here!!
  12. Did a 4 day on Mariner last February in a deluxe balcony room, me hubby & 10 year old grandson. IMHO way too small for comfort even for a short cruise. We didn’t even let them pull out the sofa bed because there was already no room. Nothing below JS for us anymore.
  13. I have not seen any evidence that, once the 125% FCC is chosen, you can change your mind and get a refund instead. Requirements are changing rapidly. Perhaps you can book something for closer to the FCC expiration date and hope things change in your favor.
  14. Cortrans very reliable and they pick up at hotels around MCO.
  15. WAAAYTOO will probably weigh in on this, apparently a favorite of Dan’s. Ok the fact that I know that means I spend waaaytoo much time on these boards!!!
  16. Change the cruise dates. You don’t have to look at your particular sailing in the app. Click on “see what ships are supported” or something like that and then click on a different ship in the same class as yours. For example I can see menus on Oasis but not Harmony. From what I’ve seen and has been posted, the menus are very similar. Sometimes they flip which day a menu is offered but very little else. Gives a pretty good idea for now.
  17. Oh no I absolutely agree with that. I usually ask for a small side dish of the “food experiment”. This cruise I don’t have to worry. I’m bringing 2 human garbage pails in the persons of my brother and nephew. Swear to God they will eat ANYTHING!!!
  18. Pretty much what I see when I look at CK menus on Oasis. We are sailing on Harmony but none of her sailings have menus yet. Good to know they are pretty standard across the fleet.
  19. Thanks Ashley, we switched from Western to Eastern when we did the lift & shift and I’m beginning to regret it. But we will be on Harmony so it’s all good.
  20. Ok so shopping is out. Original cruise had Key West and Costa Maya for shopping/sightseeing & Cozumel & Grand Cayman for beach. Now it’s Coco Csy (beach) Antigua (beach) St Thomas (beach)
  21. So it looks like every stop is a beach stop? I love a good beach but was hoping for something different in at least one port. Obviously Coco Cay is a big beach. Is there shopping in St Thomas? I mean local shopping not the high end jewelry/handbags/perfumes kind.
  22. What’s to be afraid of? It’s a cruise, if you don’t like them, move them to the side and get something else. I always try new things on a cruise cuz you aren’t stuck with a dish you don’t like.
  23. Who needs a pat of butter, aren’t the rolls for sopping up the butter on the escargot???
