Hi @TrixieBOI welcome. Just did a check for the schedule on the 21st and there will be 5 ships in that day. With a total of about 17,000 total passengers. The major beach will be very busy and Calico Jacks can be slow even on a normal day. Any of the public beaches allow you to drink BYOB but Calico's would not be too fond of you drinking right by them. On a busy day the beaches you would want to avoid are the beach at royal palms and the main public beach. If you can get a bus to take you to governors beach (next to the governors house) it is normally a little nicer and there are 2 liquor stores almost right across. Another lesser know place that is not bad is the west bay public beach although the liquor store is a few minutes away. I hope this helps a bit. I also post daily updates on periscope (although I still haven't left the house for today's yet ) you can find me at @LetsTryThisPlace there. I give little overview of the day and sometimes mention some secret spots. If you do go to public beach I forgot to mention there are multiple restaurants around there, my favorite is Dukes. Its across the road so is rarely busy. (Sorry for the long post lol but let me know if you need more help) also thanks @twangster for the ping.

RC or would generic work? They have some cheap ones on Amazon (but really we all know the ones we really want ) I might have to get some cheapy ones for now.

I know this isn't exactly cruise related but it is at the same time. I was thinking an RC Blog hat and lanyard would be nice to have on my next cruise but all I see our shirts and cups :o. @Matt why no hats?

The way I think they would be better at making money is something like a fast pass. Think amusement parks, people pay but most people don't bother. It could be the same, I would be okay with something like that. If I saw one line was huge and I absolutely had to do it and I could get say a $15 fast pass for that thing I may be interested but not $15 and still have to wait in line because everything else is being charged for as well. There are many other ways they could do this if they really tried. Even you can reserve a spot for a set time but they have spots that anyone who pays can just go in without waiting long.

Chops Grille Red Velvet Cake gone???
LetsTryThisPlace replied to Scatmanjack's topic in Royal Caribbean Dining
If it wasn't and their needs to be allergy safe I am sure it could be requested. I have heard a lot about what they make when requested. Just hope they didn't lose the chef who knew how to make it lol. -

Ya, many people on Facebook are reporting only a few dollars difference. -
All this time and I forgot to add my March 3rd, 2018 cruise here. I will be on Freedom of the seas. :)

Travel agents; Has anyone done this?
LetsTryThisPlace replied to Steve L's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Is this easy for Canadians to do? I am Canadian (not that I want to move back) and could really use an American account as we have to import everything from Florida so having an account there for purchases would be ideal. I do agree that Royal tries to say they can't list lower but sometimes they get sitewide discounts that are hard for Royal to control. Its one thing to stop a small TA but some of those bigger TAs probably have more lawers then even Royal lol. But if you get a casino rate then ya, it would be a much better option. I like to gamble here and there (it's technically illegal here) but I don't think it would be enough. (but then again I really don't know how it works) -

at least the USD is worth more. I shop on eBay a lot and many sites I use now accept PayPal so PayPal works just fine for me. -

Never heard of any of those myself. I use Travelocity just because their site is a million times better and more reliable than RC's. They normally are a little better priced, I have also been using them for years. If you go to ebates you can check if the sites you are interested in have any rebate and how much. When I booked mine there was a sale for I think it was around 14% or 17% (somewhere around there) rebate so that is another thing to consider. -
Royal Caribbean raises VOOM packages!!

I'm a little confused right now. Did the price go up because I swear it went from 20% to 30% but its the same price it has been all week? Did I miss something? -
Royal Missed Opportunity
LetsTryThisPlace replied to Razerbkfan's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Guess they just need to advertise it more. -
That is one complaint I have with RC is they are terrible at descriptions of anything on their website. Its as if the web team only gets the bullets and they don't have a way for other staff to properly update it.

Best city to live in?
LetsTryThisPlace replied to UkuleleCruiser's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I remember when I went back for college. Luckily, I met an amazing local who is now my wife, so hopefully, I won't have to go back anytime soon. Its one of those places you think oh I could never live there its too small, then you visit and decide to never go home lol. -

This part is true, you do have things like google drive which is what I tend to use. I honestly prefer WhatsApp as it isn't dependent on one eco-system which is good for here as there are people that still had their blackberries till they couldn't use them anymore lol. I have gone back and forth and have always prefered Android but for someone who wants ease of use, Apple does do that well.
