I always use a TA. The added service for no additional cost is a no-brainer, for me.

I believe RC's decision to keep a ship year round has more to do with the prices it can command than anything else. If RC could fill ships and make money from cruises departing Bangor, Maine, I am sure they would do it. While there are many factors that contribute to where ships are homeported, a requirement is being able to sell the cruise for a profit (and fill the ship). From what we've heard from RC, the fares RC could command out of LA are not what they'd like.

Questions regarding drinks and gratuities
Matt replied to catima's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
The drink packages include 18% gratuity, so you are under no obligation to provide any other tips (unless you'd like to). -

I can promise you that is definitely not the case. Data roaming is incredibly expensive on all cell plans I have ever seen.

Hi Pat and Charlie! Hi Phil! Hard to beat that Oasis class Welcome Jim! That's a lot of cruising experience and happy to have you over here with us!

I agree. We're dealing with a refurbishment and if refurbishing cruise ships is anything like house renovations, I imagine they have run into a similar situation where work began and they realized the scope of work needed greatly increased because of a previously unknown issue that occurred. Tackling work on a 20+ year old ship will present its own challenges and I have my doubts there is some conspiracy theory with these cancellations. After all, RC took quite a loss on these sailings and if nothing else, RC is all about revenue these days.

Thank you in advance! -
The shows on Anthem are still the same shows from her debut last year and I'd imagine it would stay the same by next year too.

I try my best to keep the data up to date

Not only is it fun, it's quite pretty to see

Love Giovanni's Table. It is an incredible value, especially for lunch.

On Allure of the Seas, there is a nightlight built in. When you turn off the light in the bathroom, there is still a dim light on that is perfect for middle of the night trips.

Liberty's Tidal Wave rumored to be operational today

Latest from a guest on there this week: Just talked to a guy working slides. He said he rode big one last week and got slammed bad. The fix is not just padding but controlling the water force. -
Agreed, very efficient check-in process at Terminal 1....just in time for Freedom to move to Port Everglades

I always bring a mini surge protector. It provides 3 spots and has never been an issue getting through security.

Yes, that should be fine. -
As others have noted, those kind of figures are mentioned by a crew member at some point.
