  1. That's an easily overlooked important detail.
  2. If that isn't American, I don't know what is
  3. In short, no. We always skip second formal night because neither my wife nor I eat lobster. Your daughters can still dress up and be part of the formal night scene that is happening on the Royal Promenade and around the ship. Absolutely, yes. There is a great variety of "formal" clothing onboard. Titanic, this is not :)
  4. Doesn't work that way. You need to get cash, which you can get by... Using the cash you brought onboard. Put in the machine and start playing Get cash from the ATM onboard Get cash from casino cashier. As Marc noted, they will charge you a 5% fee.
  5. No, it's about travel, history and art. They just happen to carry the Dream Cruises series, which has highlighted a number of RC ships. To be fair, all the RC episodes of Dream Cruises are out of date due to refurbishments that updated venues and options. I just love any excuse to watch RC!
  6. As far as I know, it's just live. I don't think the app has any special feature to watch it over. Of course, AWE tends to repeat their programming a lot.
  7. Glad to hear that RC has been very helpful!
  8. Is your question how do you know what the MDR will serve, thus knowing if you should go to a specialty restaurant instead? Or are you asking about the menus at specialty restaurants?
  9. You can watch on a Roku or Apple TV. It's like $2.99 a month, but I subscribe because it's pretty inexpensive and you get a whole channel to watch. Just for the cruise content, it's worth it to me. Then again, I'm a huge cruise nerd :)
  10. Brilliance of the Seas will be shown on "Dream Cruises" on AWE tonight at 8pm eastern. Where to watch AWE: http://www.awetv.com/wheretowatch/
  11. JR veggie burgers are really stinking awesome
  12. This might be the funniest thing I've read in a while!
  13. You chose Boardwalk balcony rooms and I love the interior-facing balconies. Great choice
  14. Good point, Kris. The house phones are all over the place.
  15. You just need to empty your browser cache. RC does a poor job of removing maintenance cookies when they do work on the site.
  16. That price is pretty cheap, too.
  17. I guess the secret is to place the fear of God in them before telling them about texting.
  18. Depends on the sailing. Cruises that originate and return to a US port allow for guests to sail with a birth certificate. Regardless, everyone should sail with a Passport. It is in your best interest to do so.
  19. Look at the September 4 Freedom sailing if you want to find a deal! Essentially, deals in September and October have more to do with school holidays than Hurricanes. When school is in session, you will find lower fares. As it pertains to deals, you may find better deals we get closer and RC becomes more aggressive in their pricing.
  20. The Oasis class ships (and Quantum too) have a different format to their Cruise Compass, so it may not be listed there.
  21. Welcome to the boards, Bev!
