  1. I always hate spending like ~$800 for 2 people drink package. You will be getting a lot of credit card points next month! I definitely take solace in the fact it can be canceled if something better comes along.
  2. On a PC, hover your mouse over any signature. There's an option that will appear in top right corner of signature area to manage signature preferences.
  3. I was on Jewel in 2013 and noticed lots of live music too. In fact, I've found all cruises in Caribbean to feature a lot of live music. I haven't taken an Alaska cruise yet, but I've been on Voyager class ships a lot and felt there was lots of live music. Granted, if it's not pool weather, the music is relegated to spaces inside. Each evening in the Cruise Compass is a section that shows where the live music will be.
  4. Your travel agent will have the OBC applied to your reservation, so it should be applied to your account by the end of day 1. I don't have the RC Visa card, but I believe you need to redeem the points for OBC, and then go through the process of linking the points you redeemed to your reservation.
  5. Welcome! Glad to have you here and part of our community!
  6. We're working on a few ideas, but there may or may not be a group excursion. I like to mix things up on group cruises where possible, as a means of ensuring it's not the same old experience on every group cruise. Not sure when the first GC schedule of events will be published quite yet.
  7. Many folks noticed this too, and I appreciate everyone sharing the link.
  8. I bought it today. While it's debatable how much of a discount there is, it is cheaper than buying the two separately.
  9. We're negotiating a rate with a hotel for the group, similar to what we did for the Navigator GC.
  10. Did not even notice they were gone. Signatures are back, enjoy!
  11. This is pretty cool: http://www.travelweekly.com/Cruise-Travel/Port-of-Seattle-launches-free-airport-luggage-service
  12. There are ways to get free drinks on a RC cruise today. Look at the last section of this blog post: http://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2016/08/18/5-ways-save-money-drinks-if-you-are-not-buying-royal-caribbean-drink-package
  13. As Doc suggested, you could simply give the kids the refillable mugs and let them just use that. I think in most cases, that will work for them. Alternatively, you could go to Guest Services to bequeath your drink package benefits to the kid(s). Not sure if they can fix that for you, but it seems like a reasonable request.
  14. Photos and a copy of the menu from Harmony of the Seas: http://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2017/04/17/spotted-chops-grille-lunch-harmony-of-the-seas
  15. Given that we saw so many ships change at the same time when prices went up to $14, my guess is a similar decrease on other ships too. Just a guess.
  16. They changed it last month because evidently there was a loophole some guests were exploiting: http://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2017/03/22/royal-caribbean-changes-policy-towards-booking-suites-future-cruises
  17. You did not miss anything, as we don't have any....yet.
  18. The cannoli is my wife's favorite dessert at Giovanni's table
  19. RC does something for most holidays. I'm cruising over July 4th this year for the first time and excited to see what options there are.
  20. Yes you can. You have 60 days to transfer it to MEI following your cruise. The advantage of booking onboard is you get essentially free money. By booking onboard, RC gives you extra onboard credit on top of whatever other offer the cruise line is running. Thank you for supporting our sponsor!
  21. When I used to cruise with Disney a long, long time ago, lanyards were big and I remember buying some to bring on my first RC cruise and it seems like that is not the case with RC. There are certainly some people that wear them, but it's not widespread. I just keep my family's SeaPass cards in my pocket (unless we are on a ship with WOWbands). You can buy them online, but they are also sold onboard the ship.
