  1. Past hour
  2. Interested in your Chania post tomorrow. I’m on Odyssey in September and didn’t book anything for Crete.
  3. Yeah I thought whoever thought these were a good seat idea should be fired. Or made to sit in them for 3-4 hours straight!
  4. @Sweety You are so close, congrats. With what I have on docket, until Oct 2025, I will just cross the 300pt threshold. I definitely didn't think I would get there so fast. So, Pin still seems in reach over maybe the next 5yrs.
  5. Glad you're enjoying it as much as we did. I know I only had the one suite experience to compare it to but I agree it was a huge difference. My FIL only booked the Wonder cruise because he saw/read about the new suite neighborhood layout. Most of my family barely left except to see shows. The suite sun deck was a ghost town for some reason and we had the same two daybeds all week. The staff knew we were coming every morning after breakfast and had towels out waiting (we didn't ask, they were chair hogging for us, lol). We're never getting to Pinnacle but I love this and it would totally be us. Forget the cabin, gimme the perks!
  6. Hey All! Back to recap Day 2 onboard the cruise. First Towel Animal: Sailing through the Strait of Messina: Norwegian Epic Docked in Messina Today: It was a sea day so we spent the day relaxing for the most part and at all 3 meals in coastal kitchen and pre dinner drinks in Giovanni's wine bar again. Here at the pictures from that: Breakfast: Lunch: Dinner: We also went to top tier in the morning, there were quite a few 1050 milestones and one 1400 milestone. Here are some pictures I took there, not posting the milestones pictures for privacy but if anyone was one of them and wants a picture of their slide I got all of them. Here are what I can share: We wrapped up the night in the pub with Vishal, a bartender we first met on Symphony before covid and we are glad is in a bar we actually go to this sailing (he was in windjammer in December and as I stated earlier, we basically never walk in there ). Mark James, the guitar player, played this night and so far so good although I know this is a more difficult crowd with these port intensive sailings. Anyways, here are some pictures from those shenanigans including another water dump: Thanks again and I promise I will get to a hotel review eventually, I think the time change and lack of sleep caught up to me as I napped a lot this afternoon. Rome was all go go go for us as you saw . Tomorrow, we are in the first port of the cruise, Chania, and doing a walking tour with very little description so wish us luck there. Thanks and TTYL! - Ashley
  7. Today
  8. I will have over 600 points after this year. I can't wait.
  9. Sorry, I should have put my cabin info in earlier. Yes, we are in an OVB on deck 8, so no suite. This is a 100% comped cruise since it is our Pinnacle award cruise. We won’t receive any C&A points for it, but it cost us nothing other than taxes, port fees and grats, so we’re ok about the points. Too bad they don’t follow the casino “rules” about comped cruises still getting C&A points. According to the CK Maitre’d, there are only 36 Pinns on this sailing (Dan laughed and said that’s b/c they are all on the Ossis crossing !) so all Pinns have full access to the SL and CK for all meals. I fully expected to have to eat breakfast at Chops but that’s not the case. We spent a nice afternoon up on the Suites Sundeck and I have to say, “WOW” ! What an incredible place. I felt like we had a private pool (it’s actually just a big hot tub and boy was it HOT), bar and comfy day beds. I really fell in love with this sundeck. Unlike the other O class sundecks, it is located right in the same location as the Suites, CK and SL (deck 18) and not way up forward like it is on other O class ships. I had read about it before but never realized how awesome and different this area is ! It really sets Wonder apart from its older sisters. I have some photos that I will share when I get them synched. Yes, making Pinnacle has made a huge difference in our cruising life. We now get to enjoy everything that we love about sailing in suites except for the big cabins. I’m sure there will be times when we have some access(s) limited, but those have been, up until now, very rare. I’ll take it !
  10. You have to prebook the shuttle via Royal Caribbean. There is no public transport and very few taxis. Hope this helps.
  11. FYI, the Black Friday sale actually started on 11/9 last year. I just checked the receipts from my purchases. Even if it's later this year, they should have more time at least.
  12. Someone from Jersey "has a mouth at times"? No way! I say that lovingly coming from the Philly 'burbs, of course... and my wife doesn't exactly speak like a kindergarten teacher when off the clock, lol. She has quite a few novelty gifts alluding to her... umm... let's go with potty mouth.
  13. Promo Code for cruisers from the Northeast on sailings with 6 days or more. Its SAILSAVETWRVDWZ. I have a existing booking. I want to move my cabin to a Ocean View Larger Balcony. Can I use that code? I did book via a TA.
  14. Right, only the 8 night cruise (May) and the 9 night (August) out of NJ included Labadee when itineraries were released!
  15. Our Alaska cruise Aug 16th out of Seattle dropped from $65.99 a day we had it booked for which I thought was great.
  16. That's not ideal. At least Hideaway did add some capacity to PDCC. The Symphony cruise that overlaps mine doesn't appear to have Labadee on the original itinerary so hopefully I'm safe for early June. There weren't many ships scheduled for Labadee anywhere near when I'll be on PDCC so I was cautiously optimistic about being there alone.
  17. Imagine being the poor crew member who has to find a way to retrieve those lost puppies! #Twinsies
  18. Although I'm not doing the beverage package myself this time around, I know quite a few people in my group are planning to do it, so I went and checked out how this particular sale affects our particular voyage. Turns out that it is actually about $10 a day less than the prices they have been floating for the last few months on our ship and dates, so I sent out an alert to my own people to check it out if they are interested. Quite a few of the people I expect to be in my group have not actually booked their cabins yet, so I dearly hope that, as I expect, this or a similar savings will present itself as well on Black Friday, exactly 6 days (WHEW!!!) before my group sets sail.
  19. So my Symphony cruise this month still shows being at PDCC on the 19th with Indy. HOWEVER, Because of the Labadee fiasco Royal changed our schedule and WE are now joining Wonder on the 20th!! That is TWO Oasis size ships together! Both arriving at 7am! Cruise mapper has not updated the Symphony schedules! Oh and we will also be with Wonder on the 19th all day in Port Canaveral…but I believe that is their turnaround day. Royal is bringing us there from 7a-6p. We will be with Allure and a few other ships in Nassau (our replacement port ) on the 21st.
  20. we on that cruise July 13. So we are spending a few days before the cruise in Venice. We are taking a bus from Venice to Ravenna. Someone else set it up, but I'll try to get the info.
  21. Wow at that puter fiasco. Maybe because the crew members are so green and not staying as long for their contracts, a lot of the information is lost in translation. But also, because this is a continuation of so many cruises .........Pins can go to CK for breakfast, lunch and dinner? Or are you staying in a suite? I read deck 8 and assumed balcony. But if this is the case on Oasis class ships, it makes me really want to get to Pin .
  22. My MDR or Windjammer every night is still a better deal than all of those!
  23. I was just going to post this, for every sailing I have but one the Chops+ 1 is more than the 3N package. Personally, I really have grown to dislike Chops dinner and would rather do any other specialty restaurant before that one.
  24. We'll be on Icon next month. If the same situation exists, Icon may be a "one and done" for us.
