reservations for main show

I am still 95 days out and most of the entertainment is available to make reservations for, however the main show is not available. How soon does that open up?

Hey Jolly, welcome aboard! What ship and exactly when do you cruise, that will help the multitude here get you an answer. Oh yes, did you book through a travel agent?

On ships that allow booking reservation for entertainment such as some Quantum class and Oasis class, officially they say between 60-90 days.  Symphony is an anomaly over the next few months being a new ship entering a new region.

Can you clarify what you mean by the "main" show? If you're referring to the headliner act for your sailing, that's open seating and no reservations are required or taken.

And even with these ships, it's really only the Broadway / West End musical shows and maybe one or two others (e.g., Flight on Symphony, Columbus on Harmony, or The Gift on Anthem) that take reservations. The rest of the nightly shows in the ship's main theater are all general admission, first-come-first-served.

I am going on the Allure January 2019. It is for the Mama Mia show. I did book with a travel agent.

Ah, OK. Yes, Mama Mia will need reservations. If it's not in your Cruise Planner yet, just keep checking daily. It should show up soon. Still a little early yet, like @twangster said it's usually 60-90 days out.

Just another example of how it really does vary from ship to ship and from sailing to sailing.  @bellemiche just texted me this morning and told me that entertainment opened up for our March 2019 cruise on Harmony.  That is 150 days out.
