Anyone getting points yet from April cruises?  I saw a partial amount show up, but haven’t seen the bunch we earned on the first weekend yet.

I'm assuming they’re still getting the 2023 info cleared for everyone.

I have some, but I've had 2 sailings..one was split over the new casino year so that may be the one missing points. I didn't think to keep track of how many I earned on those sailings 😒

Yeah, I didn’t either on our April 5 - 8 Freedom.  I got 840 points but only seeing 223. Only “proof” I have is an instant Certificate.  I think I’ll just wait itt out, see what shakes out.

(Going forward, I now will take a picture at the end of gambling to record my points). 😉

Yeah I have 2 instant certs for the 800pt threshold and one for 1500 while only showing 1,015 points..so it doesn't quite add up. I won't call til closer to the expiration of the first certificate. Folks on the casino groups say they've been told to give it 30 days. The expiry dates should be proof enough of when they were earned.

Our 4/18 - 4/22 points aren’t in yet, but we’ll see what pops in this week. 🤞

Checked this morning, all of our points from our 2 April cruises are in.  Dorothy and I are (gulp) tracking how much of our cash in it actually takes to get to Prime for each of us.  Happy to report, that I made Prime this year for "net-net nothing"!!  (Of course, I'm going to whittle away at that goodness over the next bunch of cruises as I continue to play, but, I'm going to rejoice for now!)  Next step is to get Dorothy to Prime starting next weekend.  Yippee.

I saw on a FB page that if you are hedging on the craps tables after 4/1/24 that they are only rating you for having $10 in play regardless of how much you have on the table.

Can anyone confirm or deny this?

I assume you're referring to the light in the darkness strategy.  I haven't personally played it the trip I'm currently on since I'm not really chasing points at the moment.  I also haven't seen anyone else playing it.  It does look like Brian (https://www.youtube.com/@holyrollr) was on the Oasis a couple weeks ago and sounds like he and his kids were getting rated properly.  So it's probably either specific to a ship or much more likely a specific pit boss.

I hope so as I am on Freedom on Monday. Not doing Brian's Light in the Dark but a mod that I have come up with that I am comfortable playing.

I will report back as to how I did when I get back.

My husband hasn’t cruised in a li g time he loves the casino.  Today I saw Chris Wong show video from a slot tournament.  I was just wondering if my husband will be able to enter the tournament.  Is there a process, sign-up required, cost, limit to who can play, etc.  I think he would enjoy it.

I believe it costs $25 to enter the tournament. Check with the slot host or at the cashier window the first night of the cruise. The tournaments are typically held on sea days. I think there are about 8-10 machines used, but there are several rounds, so a larger number of players can be accommodated.

I tried it once many years ago. It was fun, even though I didn't win anything. I hope your husband enjoys it!
