tlmgalloway
Hi, I'm cruising on Quantum of the Seas in April for my Hawaii cruise. We will land back in Vancouver after 10 days. Did anyone have any problems booking a one way trip back from Vancouver to the United States? My travel agent said I need to show a round trip ticket when flying back into the US. I would love to hear from anyone having experience with this situation.
Pattycruise
Interesting. I am flying home from Vancouver to the US and had no problems booking my flight, on my own. Did you try and do a booking on your own, all the way to the shopping cart? maybe cal another travel agent and inquire, or an airline, or maybe call Air2Sea which is Royals travel agent....and inquire about booking a one way flight 1-844-278-9745. I HAVE booked one way from Barcelona to the US as well as one way from the US to London and I do get a pop up that states I MAY need to show proof of return, if needed. Your cruise ticket would be proof as to how you got into that country and it's highly likely that no one will ask for it. Additionally your passport will be recorded with the ship so the authorities can see how you arrived in their country.

That makes no sense.

Are you a US Citizen? If you aren't, the airline is going to need to see proof that you will be leaving the country at some point.
smokeybandit
You don't need a round trip ticket, just proof of when you are leaving. That said you may never need that evidence.
