All the shows are sold out.

Is it easy to get in by waiting to see if there’s empty seats?

Check on the app when you get on the ship and see if you're able to reserve.  But, yes, there's always a standby line for those who didn't get a reservation.  Just show up early.

Get to the theater 30 minutes before the show and wait in the standby line.  That usually works for me everytime I've tried it.

There are a lot of no-shows for the entertainment because people gobble up the free tickets now, but then don't actually go.

Just get in the standby line about 30 minutes before the start time. They will let stand by people in about 10-15 minutes prior to the start of the show to fill remaining seats

Don't let this part get lost in all the assurances that you will be able to get in via standby (although you definitely will and I agree with every comment in this thread).

We boarded Allure at noon (latest I've ever boarded) for a last minute cruise in October and I was able to book just about anything I wanted (except adult comedy) via the app. They hold back a certain % of seats for the shows to be booked onboard.

Again, nothing wrong with standby, I just prefer to have reservations when possible.
