Freedom of the seas Posted September 29, 2023 Report Share Posted September 29, 2023 We have booked our first ever cruise with Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Sea. Our itinerary says Stateroom. GTY. SpeedNoodles Posted September 29, 2023 Report Share Posted September 29, 2023 You probably booked a Guarantee Balcony Stateroom. That means that you will get a balcony, but they will choose the room. You may not find out which room you are in until shortly prior to sailing. If you want to pick your own stateroom, you can call your travel agent (or Royal Caribbean, if you booked directly), but they will reprice it at the current price of a "you pick your own room" price. That means you are guaranteed to get a cabin in your selected class (or higher), but Royal will pick the exact cabin location. You may get a wonderful room with a great view or you might have a nice view of the life boats from your balcony. We found out unofficially very early September and then officially a week or so ago. The cabin was a actually a surprise it was in a pretty good location. We like it where it is.
