Govt Shutdown affecting Disembarkations?

I posted this in my upcoming Mariner rollcall but it really applies to any cruise ending (in a US port) at the beginning of October.

Anyone know if the US Government shuts down at the end of September, will this affect disembarkations at the beginning of October?  (I'd be nervous if I had an early flight).

For those types of services, the shutdown just means those employees wouldn't get a paycheck until the shutdown ends, but would get back pay once it's over.  They'll still work though.

I wouldn't expect any change as it relates to cruise ships.

They are considered "essential workers" and are not furloughed during a shutdown. They also receive no pay as you stated. Once the government is funded they get full back pay. Went through this several times in my years as a government employee.
