This sorta thing wouldn't work for me but I appreciate the logic and creativity to get a deal. I was going to book one of those open-ended reservations where you don't pick your actual cruise at NextCruise on Allure this week to use for the November release until I learned from my TA that you can't get a refundable deposit open-ended reservation and that's what I would want to transfer to a TA group rate when the release happens.
