Checkin with suite rooms

Morning all - We are sailing for the first time with Royal on the Oasis. We are celebrating my wife's 50th. I just wanted to know how the check-in works. Do you still have to check in early on the app to ensure an early check-in or is there any other process with the sky benefits? We are staying at a hotel, so we are trying to get on the earlier time to align with checkout.

There is nothing different for checking in and selecting a time. Just whatever time you do select, you can show up an hour earlier than that slot.

You for sure should check-in either through the app or on Royals website once check-in opens for your cruise it makes embarkation day much easier and quicker. 

Since you are staying in a suite when you show up to the port you would proceed directly to the suite check-in area it doesn't matter what your check-in time is.  In most cases that I've experienced I haven't ran into a situation where Royal has enforced the check-in time for suite guest.

Same for us.  Any time when you are in a suite.

Use the app if you do not have a Suite, if you have a Suite it really does not matter and you can check in on the app or website at your leisure. You check in to the suites area at the port and they will board you early, no matter what time you have.
