Joanne Terrell
I have a question about disembarking in Seattle. What time can I reasonably book a departing flight? We are light packers and can carry our own luggage. Thanks:)
SpeedNoodles
It's generally a good idea to not book a flight that departs before noon. Could you make an earlier flight? Possibly - but Seattle traffic can be ridiculous.

Ryan79
I wouldn’t book anything before noon personally. Yes, earlier may be possible but you are counting on the ship docking going perfectly and on time. Also you are counting on minimal traffic to the airport and minimal lines at the airport. Just one thing goes wrong and you are toast.
CrznTxn
You can also use the free luggage transport service that Seattle offers to take your luggage from the ship and check it in directly to your flight without you having to carry it off or pick it up from the ship. FSUFAN
We just did the Seattle debarkation. People in our group were getting off of the ship by 7:30 am. We got off about 8:30 for an 11:55 am flight and ended up going to an Airport lounge (I have Priority Pass) and waiting around for more than an hour until about 15 minutes before boarding time which is 30 minutes before take-off. We too took a yellow cab and it was $50 or $55. We could have easily made an 10:45 or 11:00 am flight. FYI - SeaTac is a very crowded terminal. Security was fairly quick, but we are TSA-Pre. Once beyond security, the terminal gate walkways were shoulder to shoulder with people. CruiseGus
