Dave and Anne Posted May 4, 2023 Report Posted May 4, 2023 Can anyone give us a ballpark price to expect with Uber or Lyft to Port Canaveral fro this hotel. We have a 10:30am check-in time for our cruise on Mariner in June. The shuttle services we checked won’t pick up until 10:15am that day. It will be my wife and I. Thank you. Quote
smokeybandit Posted May 4, 2023 Report Posted May 4, 2023 You can use the Uber/Lyft website to get an estimate. Ryan79 1 Quote
Cactus527 Posted May 4, 2023 Report Posted May 4, 2023 You can always go to the Uber/Lyft app or website and do a mock booking to see what the pricing is going to be. Here's what I see currently from Lyft. Ryan79 1 Quote
Lovetocruise2002 Posted May 4, 2023 Report Posted May 4, 2023 Like others have said, Uber/Lyft website can give you an estimate if you put the addresses in. The website RideGuru (https://ride.guru/) is also great for comparing prices too. I like to use that one. Cactus527 1 Quote
Dave and Anne Posted May 4, 2023 Author Report Posted May 4, 2023 Thank you all for the feedback. One more question, for 2 people with luggage, what size car would be appropriate to choose? Quote

One more question, for 2 people with luggage, what size car would be appropriate to choose? I would say that depends how much luggage the 2 people are carrying. A regular Uber/lyft is usually the size of a normal sedan. XL is an SUV. For Hubby and I (no kids), we travel with one large 29 inch roller, and two 21 inch rollers. We can fit into a regular Uber/Lyft. With the kids we always have to get XL. Cactus527 1 Quote

Mr. SpeedNoodles and I travel with two large suitcases plus another bag each (like duffle or backpack sized) and we have yet to find a regular Lyft/Uber that could not accommodate everything (and some of those cars LOOKED small). Ampurp85 Posted May 5, 2023 Report Posted May 5, 2023 Keep in mind that many of the drivers know you have luggage so trunks should be empty. I say regular fits 2-3 with luggage but they sometimes lie about the XL options. A couple of years ago we were 5, we did the XL for 6 pax, and they sent us a one that held 5. They said the driver accepted the ride but was driving his smaller truck, it was a hassle. But with two people and possibly 4 bags, the standard will be fine. Quote
Dave and Anne Posted May 5, 2023 Author Report Posted May 5, 2023 Again thank you all-this has been very helpful! Quote
