Trouble/questions regarding MEI-Travel

Sorry to hear, Sharla has been wonderful to deal with. Have always been happy with communication, advice and follow up. Have my next cruise booked for July 2024. Hope she will still work with me.

Not at all! I am taking a step back- I was planning on leaving entirely but have since changed my mind somewhat. I'm still here, I just haven't had a chance to tell some folks I am sticking around.

Yes! We have a proprietary software that alerts our agents when there has been a price change. As you can imagine, our agents often have many clients and they usually work through them in order of sailing. So if you are a frequent cruiser who checks for new pricing often, it is possible that you may notice the savings for your sailing before our agent has chance to make it to you on the list! It also may be a situation where the offer is unable to be applied to your particular stateroom.

The last two times the new price popped up on a Saturday, and I hate to bother people on weekends, so I'm sure I got to it before my TA did due to timing. Though to her credit she did adjust the rate the last time despite it being a Saturday (that was a big drop. I couldn't risk waiting until Monday to check in).

I have to send a shout out to the #1 Mei TA in my book. Ashley Bittenbender.  Sometimes I think I drive her crazy with all my changes or indecisiveness. She keeps up with all my changes and gets back to me in a timely manner. She lets me know if she is unable to work on my bookings, because she is unavailable, on vacation or have limited internet access.  Wouldn’t trade her.  She is patient and kind.
