Yesiamthere6
Just received the genie survey for our cruise the end of February, which I found a bit odd for two reasons. First, over two months out is really early to get the survey, then the survey never mentioned who our genie would be. Has that happened to you? What’s everyone’s take on it? Thanks! twangster
My genie was on vacation when the survey arrived. All came out well in the end. I wouldn't worry about it. Yesiamthere6
JazzBassMan
I also got the survey this far out. We didn’t get any direct communication from our assigned genie till less than an month out. I don’t feel like the survey had any real world impact on my cruise experience. I’ve had a genie twice and both were very different, but I doubt you’ll be disappointed. Yesiamthere6
WAAAYTOOO
The survey is delivered long before your Genie is assigned. You likely won’t hear from your Genie until right around 30 days prior to sailing Yesiamthere6 and Lovetocruise2002

ScooterScott22
The genie assignment is usually pretty reliable but there are instances that could cause some genie assignments to be late or change. I share this because we had one re-assigned on the day of the cruise. Our poor (new) genie got reassigned late from the Caribbean to our Alaska cruise. He had no warm clothes!!! If the staff is in the middle of a contract, it should not be an issue unless there is an illness or emergency. if there are staff that are rotating out due to contracts ending, it could create a slight delay.
