Mike n Ky
I know we have to fly into Orlando, we leave on the Wonder end of April, but, should I stay in Orlando and shuttle to the port the morning of the cruise or should I shuttle over on Saturday afternoon and stay in a hotel near the port? We really have no interest in doing anything in Orlando.
Xaa
Should I eat my Oreo whole or divide it and then eat? Really doesn't matter much. Hotels will probably be less expensive nearer to the airport if that makes a difference.
twangster
When I used to fly to cruise I would stay in Orlando for the abundance of less expensive airport hotels then I'd go to the port the morning of the cruise. The area near Port Canaveral is very nice but like any beach oriented community the resorts are not always the least expensive options. However if you will arrive early enough it may be worth the extra cost to stay near the beach and be a local tourist for a day.
smokeybandit
If we get in early enough to catch one the shuttles that tend to stop running by 2pm, we'll go to Port Canaveral. Any later than that we'll stay near the airport then head over in the morning.
NotPayinExtra
I also gotta go with the price issue. Way more hotels in Orlando and you can save. I fly in day before and stay by airport. Then morning of cruise travel early to port. Pooch
