Baked Alaska
Hello. I am wondering what that empty space across from GS 14660 is. Not the highlighted cabin, although it is probably the same. I'm thinking it might be open space in front of (or behind, depending on your direction) the steps. Edit to add: The open space that I'm thinking of is the open space usually found above a staircase. Baked Alaska
I've edited to add that I THINK the open space is the space usually found above a staircase. I'm hoping it is not a crew stairway.
CrimsonCruiser
I second crew stairway or storage I managed to rustle up someone walking on the other side on deck 14 and you can just barely see a doorway in that general area (@ 1:18) Motion sickness warning - this is THE shakiest cam of all shaky cams. Even I was getting dizzy watching. Baked Alaska
Brandis
If it has an emergency exit sign, it's a crew staircase and you would see that empty space on every deck, not only cabin decks. Or it might be a technical space for exhaust pipes etc. Or as mentioned above, a locker for the cabin staff. Why are you worried it might be a crew staircase? I've had cabins next opposite those and never heard anything from them. Especially on cabin decks, they are pretty much only used by the cabin staff when they get on or off work. To get to public areas, they are used by pretty much any crew or staff.
